  • David Soul - Top Gear (David Soul 1:54.0) Top Gear Star in a Car: During most programmes, a celebrity 'usually of British fame' is interviewed by Jeremy Clarkson. Discussion is normally amusing, and focuses on car-related matters, such as the celebrity's car history. Then Clarkson, the guest and the studio audience watch the guest's fastest lap on the Top Gear test track. Suzuki Liana For the first seven series of its current incarnation, the car driven was a Suzuki Liana. The car used is stock, except a roll cage and racing seats have been added as safety measures. Each guest first practises with The Stig and is then allowed a number of attempts to make his or her way around the test track in the fastest time. However, the star doesn't learn of his or her lap time until they are interviewed, and guests are often visibly anxious awaiting their results while in the studio. Practice laps, crashes and the drivers' facial expressions are also shown for amusement. The two slowest laps on the Liana celebrity list are held by Terry Wogan and the late Richard Whiteley, both of whom were beaten by completely blind Bosnia war veteran Billy Baxter, who wrenched the Liana through the track under directions from Clarkson in the passenger seat. The fastest non-professional driver was Ellen MacArthur, which was particularly impressive as she does not drive much due to her career as a long-distance yachtswoman. Unlike most contenders she made no comments to the camera during her lap. The Liana endured considerable abuse from the ...

They "borrow" their neighbor Mrs. Pung's Ford Country Squire. On the way there they cannot decide which CD to listen to. As they cross the General Edwards bridge on the Saugus River, on the way home, Charlie decides to take a look at the moon to see if Sam was right about the moon being larger that night. Charlie doesn't see an 18-wheeler truck come and they end up tumbling twice crushing Oscar along the way. With that, Charlie awakens in an ambulance by a religious paramedic, Florio Ferrente. However, Sam is mortally wounded and dies in his brother's arms, but not before promising Charlie to never leave him again. Thir*** years later, Charlie has grown up and is working at the Marblehead cemetery. Every evening at dusk he goes to a nearby forest where he plays with Sam. Charlie has the gift of seeing ghosts. This serves him well as an undertaker, as he can talk with Louise. In the town lives Tess Carroll, a yachtswoman who wants to make a round the world trip. A week prior to her departure, she directs her yacht in to a storm to test it, but in an accident, Tess and the yacht are lost. Tess appears at the cemetery. She meets Charlie and they go on a date. • Snipe Women's World Championship 2010 Every other year, the best Women Snipers gather for the Women's World Championship. In 2010 that was St. Petersburg, Florida in November and the temperature was a balmy 80º. Out on the water the competition was even hotter. With competitors from Europe, North & South America and Japan, this group of sailors showed just how tight one design racing can be at the top level. Going into the last race, only 3 points separated the top three boats. It doesn't get a lot more competitive than that. It took a stellar final day for Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year Anna Tunnicliffe and her crew Molly Vandemoer to take the Championship with a win in the final race. Trixy and Yuyu Agusti from Argentina came in second with Kathleen Tock and crew Kate Sheahan just two points back of them in third. There's definitely a trend in the Snipe Class. Young sailors are finding there's a lot of competition to be had in this boat that turns 80 this year. Those younger sailors are showing up on the podium a lot. The new generation of Snipe Champions.
