Trip - Integrated Motorcycle Satellite Navigation This is the video presentation from my major project submitted for a Degree in Industrial Design at Northumbria University. The project explored satellite navigation for motorcycles and how it could be developed specifically for that purpose. I felt that available devices detracted from the biking experience and also put the rider in a position of risk. Designed for use with the Triumph Sprint ST, Trip is a fully integrated system using a redesigned instrument cluster in conjunction with a removable hand held unit. Trip is a safer and more intuitive riding 'buddy' and road guide, removing the need for physical interaction while riding and includes bike specific functions.
