Being that taste is a preference there can seldom be a sure winner, that my friend is for you to decide. Dave's Gourmet Hurtin' Jalapeno: "So Green, It's Obscene!" LOL. It was definately green. As far as the flavor goes, it was slightly salty with strong citrus presence. None of the ingredients were overbearing as they played well with each other. Could taste the Jalapeno, but actually more cayenne flavor. The heat was immediate but not searing. Actually, it was very mild as far as heat goes, regular Tabasco is hotter. So far, this is my favorite of Dave's hot sauces. Smooth texture and GARLIC!!! The main flavor was garlic with salt and tabasco battling for second. Had a little more heat than Hurtin' Jalapeno but by no means a scorcher. I wish it wouldn't have been such a small bottle 'cause I'd use this sauce for sure. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and rice flour two 8 or 9 inch round cake pans. 2. Mix the white rice flour, tapioca flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and xanthan gum together and set aside. 3. Mix the eggs, sugar, and mayonnaise until fluffy. Add the flour mixture, milk and vanilla and mix well. Spread batter into the prepared pans. 4. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 minutes.
