Also, the very existence of Jesus hasn't been demonstrated beyond a reasonable doubt. Some scholars think he was one of many "messiahs" who were assigned the same fable of a virgin birth, persecuted death and subsequent rebirth. To base one's environmental policies on such a vague story borders on criminality, but millions of "conservatives" insist on injecting it into public science policy. That's what makes them dangerous.
