But what you're looking at goes way, way beyond ordinary "exercise". Yes, there's a completely unique exercise system in Warrior... a tightly sequenced array of "smart" exercises which stimulate the nervous system and body chemistry in the signature fashion of TACFIT! But this is the Science of Mind-Body Exercise. What you can see here is just the surface. And what is beneath that surface must be FELT to be believed. In this case, you CAN'T quite believe your eyes! There's a program under the program, a mind interwoven with the movement, a more entrenched layer of mental and emotional strategies that intertwine with the exercise. You can stumble about through movements and never touch these methods, like I did for years. But I had no choice but to dig deeper. Genetically, I needed to exploit every technological advantage in order to succeed, not just physically, but also educationally and vocationally. To even rehearse a technique in fighting required specific mind-focusing tactics to combat the neural chaos of my learning disabilities, and lift me to world championship gold. The fog and friction of the commercial battlefield differed little from hand to hand combat: the mental are to the physical as 3 is to 1. Whoever can cycle faster mentally wins in all endeavors. Strategies to refine the mind's agility should be our ...

  • Hope Christian Music Video Have you ever felt ignored by God? Have you wondered why others are blessed, while the Lord continues to allow suffering, disappointment, and hardship in your life? Scripture records the stories of faithful believers who were able to maintain their hope in the midst of painful circumstances. The apostle Paul is a perfect example. He experienced persecution, beatings, unfair trials, imprisonment, and sickness, among other frustrations. Lets explore what he discovered about rising above adversity. 1. Fulfillment in life does not hinge on our circumstances. 1. A change in scenery will never bring lasting joy. Some people believe that personal contentment is linked to ones circumstances. Consequently, when they become frustrated with life, they might quit their job, sell their house, divorce their spouse, or buy a new car. A little while later, they begin to feel unsatisfied again. * Have you ever believed a certain circumstance would bring you contentment, and then been disappointed when it arrived and didnt satisfy? Describe the situation and how you felt. * From this experience, what did you learn and how can you apply that to your current circumstances? 2. Paul discovered that the secret to contentment was not found in things, but in a Person (Phil. 4:11-12). As believers, we find joy in our relationship with the Lord, not in our circumstances. * What hardships did Paul experience, according to 2 Corinthians 11:24-27? * Having experienced all that, why did Paul say he was ...

Entry from: Pakxe, Lao Peoples Dem Rep Entry Title: "Countryside can make you forget everything" Entry: "This week was defined by my time in Pakxe, Laos. The beginning of my week was preparation for my trip to southern Laos. My boss and I made sure that we had all the information we needed to travel south, our attorney's girlfriend was also coming with us because she is redoing the website content for VFI. We went to yoga at Vientiane Yoga Studio before our ten hour bus ride, so I quickly packed my bag at my apartment and met her there. We did yoga for about and hour and a half and it was incredibly relaxing. I had not felt that way in a long time, I also had not done yoga for almost 2 years so it was great. Afterwards the attorney drove us to the bus station. On the bus, we each bought 2 seats because the seats were each really half a bed, therefore, we got our own bed for the night. Melissa and I settled in and chatted for a while, it was nice to have girl time because I live with two guys that just don't cut it with girl talk. We finally fell asleep because when the bus arrived at 6:30 we needed to be ready to work. When I woke up people were deboarding and I was seriously groggy from the night, but I got off the bus and the staff was there to drive us to our hotel. We were staying at the ...

  • Should Vocational training be introduced in all schools? I am Pradeep Kumar R and am a 1st year MBA student. I strongly feel that vocational education and training courses must be introduced in all schools across India. The decision to impart "vocational education and training" in all schools in India would involve considerable investment to be made in terms of time, money, energy and other resources. Hence, the immediate question which would arise is will we, as a country, be better off by spending these resources on general education or vocational education. There are significant trade-offs for both the decisions. However, I strongly feel that for a developing country like India, imparting vocational education and training in all schools would be more beneficial. I would like to elucidate why. There are 3 important reasons why I feel we need to introduce vocational training in all schools: 1. In India almost 90% of students who enrol in 1st standard drop out before passing out of 8th standard. Why is this so? This is because most of these students come from poor families and the benefits of the education is not immediately felt. These students either end up working in agriculture or become unskilled workers. Both these options do not lead to significant monetary gains due to low value addition and low productivity. Introducing vocational education at schools would change this scenario. Presently just 12% of our workforce is employed in Industry and around 60% are employed in agriculture. Since these students would already be ...

  • Anti-Marijuana PSA Educational Video - Talking to Your Kids Anti-Marijuana PSA Educational Video. Marijuana is the most widely used illicit drug used by ***s today. Approximately 60 percent of the kids who use drugs use only marijuana. Of the 14.6 million marijuana users in 2002, approximately 4.8 million used it on 20 or more days in any given month (Kids and Marijuana). The marijuana that is available to ***s today is much stronger than the marijuana that was available in the 1960's. Sometimes it is also laced with other, more potent drugs. Marijuana is physically addictive. Each year, 100000 ***s are treated for marijuana dependence. ***s who smoke marijuana heavily experience much the same symptoms of withdrawal as users of nicotine. The University of Michigan's Monitoring the Future study, which assesses drug and alcohol use among American youth, reported substantial increases among eighth, tenth, and twelfth graders from 1992 to 1997. These statistics show a disturbing national trend in the increase of marijuana use by ***agers (Facts about Marijuana Use). Between 1991 and 2001, the percentage of eighth graders who used marijuana doubled from one in ten to one in five. Kids are using marijuana at an earlier age. Research indicates that the earlier ***s start using marijuana, the more likely they are to become dependent on this or other drugs later in life. Of ***s admitted for treatment for marijuana dependence, 56 percent had first used the drug by four*** years of age, and 26 percent had begun by twelve years of ...

  • Glasgow Flashmob for the Ramshorn Theatre by Sonic Boom On the 2nd of May 2011 Sonic Boom staged a flashmob in support of the ramshorn theatre. People in Glasgow are surrounded by Culture, sometimes we forget how important culture and arts are in our community. We thought the best way to remind people of how surrounded in culture they are metaphorically would be to surround them in it literally, then, after one minute, take it all away, because that is exactly what will happen if something isn't done about the funding cuts facing our theatres. The ramshorn theatre is under immediate threat of closure from the University of Strathclyde, who wish to become a centre of scientific excellence, but this is just the first of a trend. Every theatre and theatre group are under threat. Under the new funding cuts theatres will be forced to increase their prices for hire and for staging performances, and increase their ticket prices. Eventually they will price themselves out of the market. This will lead to closures, like we are seeing with the Ramshorn, and once these cultural landmarks are gone, they are gone. The idea that science can be so vastly improved by cutting funding to the arts is baffeling. There are, in the society of Glasgow, those who are talented in and vocationally drawn towards science, and those who are vocationally drawn and talented in Arts and Culture. If you cut funding to arts and culture it doesn't change the number of people who are talented in that field, it just limits a proportion of the population from ...
