Wind turbine syndrome or VVVT - Visceral Vibratory Vestibular Disturbance. My best video so far. My thoughts regarding an article in the tabloid press regarding wind turbines. When we fought the last war, the countryside played host to all manner of airfields, radar towers, barrage balloons, hangers, etc, etc, etc, etc, which were removed as they were no longer required. Alas we are now facing threats to our way of life that are many times greater then any foreign enemy, mainly the fact that we are running out of resources to sustain us and our modern way of life. We cannot just burn every ounce of fuel we posses and chuck all the byproducts in to the sky. I wish to call on the good people of the UK to once again lend the countryside to the defense of everything we hold dear - including the very countryside itself, from the very real risk of climate change, caused by the pumping of billions of tons of emissions into the eggshell thin layer of atmosphere over our beautiful world - our place of life that sustains us and every living thing, vegetable, animal, or human. As a developed nation, we need to set an example to the rest of humanity, so that as the developing nations rush to become developed nations in a sustainable way. Our greatest source of limitless free energy in the UK is not limited supplies of uranium or fossil fuel, it is the wind, and as such, our good example to the world will be to take advantage of the one sustainable resource we have more of then any other nation in Europe, and not get distracted by unfounded fears of things like 'Wind Turbine ...
Hypo Slow Vestibular System People with an under sensitive, hypo-slow vestibular system may be learning challenged as their visual, auditory, tactile, proprioceptive and attentional systems may be under responsive to sensory stimuli. Vigorous, bouncy, stop and go, angular, and spinning activities are needed to strengthen the vestibular and connected sensory systems called upon to learn.
Vestibular Rehabilitation Exercises for Dizziness/Balance These are exercises people can do for issues with dizziness and or imbalance. These are very effective for people who have gotten the two issues above from things like Valley Fever, etc. that have attacked the nervous system and cortex of the brain. This can not only help to relieve and take away dizziness, but help significantly improve balance and coordination, tracking with your eyes, etc. I am back doing these therapies again but before I had been doing them at a hospital and they helped me to get out of a wheelchair after significant medical issues attacked the nervous system. The cortex of my brain is being multed right now so I have to work on it and literally re-fire the nerves... its nice the body can actually do that with therapy. There is more therapies that include electrodes and things like HBOT, but this therapy is very great. I will add annotations during the video soon so you know what and how I am doing the different maneuvers. Kris

He is showing signs that are not consistent with with idiopathic vestibular. He has some motor control problems especially with lapping up water, swallowing and chewing. I've been up most nights as the dog has a hard time laying down. We have found that the dramamine works better then the meclizine. We will take him to a neurologist for dogs..hopefully this week.

Galvanic Vestibular Stimulation (GVS) SHORT STORY: REMOTE CONTROL CAN USE ELECTRICAL IMPULSES TO CONTROL HUMAN MOVEMENT LONG STORY: "Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp, a leading provider of telecommunications services in Japan, has developed a prototype of a device that controls the direction of human bipedal movement. A human subject wears a helmet which conducts a low voltage electrical current (eg, painless) into the balance guiding region inside the ear; which causes the head to tilt to the side of the head where electricity is applied. "NTT researchers say they were able to make a person walk along a route in the shape of a giant pretzel using this technique.""

Sam recovering from vestibular disease Shot 5th of March, 2008. This is Sam now. He became ill on December 28th, spent a week at the hospital and several weeks being quite ill at home. He's just had a series of cartrophen injections for his arthritis, and is back to his frisky, bouncy self :) As you can see, minimal head tilt. That may continue to improve, or may stay like that, we'll just have to wait and see. But other than the tilt, no sign of the illness! So if your pet has just been diagnosed with this illness, don't panic. The majority recover in a couple weeks. Some may take longer, but they will recover. Lots of TLC and attention, at home in familiar surroundings. And if your pet is vomiting, try kiddie doses of anti nausea pills. Check with your vet first.

Pug the Cat Vestibular Disease - June 10, 2009 Pug the cat after one week -- she was found the evening of June 3rd on our front lawn. Originally, it was thought that she had a broken back right leg because she could not sit, stand, or walk without falling over. She was taken to FCNMHP on June 5th and then to Saint Francis Animal Hospital. A diagnosis of vestibular disease was rendered. She is being treated with Prednisone 5mg, Clavamox Drops 1ml 2x/daily, and Animax ointment for her ears. She is now able to sit, stand, and walk although quite wobbly; her head tilts to one side and she tends to walk to her right and in circles. Pug seems to be falling less, but when she shakes her head, she loses her balance and falls on her side.

Using Wii for Vestibular Rehabilitation at National Dizzy and Balance Center Several factors must be considered when designing a vestibular rehabilitation program for an individual patient. Therapeutic efficacy may be limited by the extent and location of damage to the vestibular system, and the current activity level of the patient. Status of visual and proprioceptive systems, physical strength, motor skills, and integrity of the cerebellum are critical to the successful application of a vestibular rehabilitation program. Vestibular rehabilitation is typically designed as a therapist-directed patient-motivated home-based exercise protocol. vestibular rehabilitation exercises are graduated, beginning at the minimal skill level that the patient is capable of performing; complexity is increased as compensation and habituation occur. Patients have regular follow-up visits with the therapist until compensation and habituation are complete and optimal balance is attained.

Galvanic Vestibular Stimulation (GVS) Technology developed by Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp (NTT), similar to mind control, whereby the stimulation of nerves via radio communication leads to a remote controlled human. It has been suggested by developers that this technology has clinical, recreational and military uses. Eventual finetuning of this technology will reveal the already blueprinted ability to send electric messages directly to the head without the need of a headset. My appologies but the video did not come with sound.
Vestibular Disease - Day 4 Here's my dog, Sunny, four days after she was unable to stand due to Geriatric Vestibular Disease. She's still a bit unsteady. Her feet still get a bit mixed up as she walks. But she IS better than yesterday. Head is tilted left, and she is holding is quite a bit lower than what was 'normal' before all this started. See previous video "Vestibular Disease - Day 3", and the following one "... Day 7". Toward the end of the video, she finally makes it inside the house and settles onto her bed. The lighting is not great but you can see how much faster Sunny lays down. It is a good sign she is making progress. (This is NOT a stroke.)
