Dental work for people without insurance is cheaper across the border. In this package, I followed two American citizens who get dental work done in Mexico. We traveled to Algodones, Mexico a border city that is near Yuma, Arizona. During the winter snowbirds, US senior citizens who travel to warmer places during the winter, migrate to the American southwest to escape cold temperature. Porcelain Veneer The dental veneer procedure requires three dental visits: one for a consultation, and two additional procedures to make and apply the veneers. The first step in obtaining veneers is planning a visit with Dr. Champagne for the dental veneers. During the initial appointment, Dr. Champagne examines a persons teeth to make sure dental veneers are appropriate. For example, a person who is seeking whiter teeth may not need veneers but in stead would benefit from teeth whitening. After the initial consultation, a person will return to Dr. Champagnes office to make a mold or model of his or her teeth, which will be sent off to a dental laboratory to construct the veneers. In the lab, CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing) technology constructs the veneers. After a week or two, a person will return to the dentist to have the veneers applied. During the veneer application, Dr. Champagne temporarily places the veneer on the tooth to examine the color and fit. He may trim the veneer to properly fit it to the teeth. Once the veneer is a perfect fit for the tooth, Dr. Champagne cleans and polishes the teeth to prepare the tooth for the veneer. Dr. Champagne positions the veneer on the tooth and uses a light beam to activate the cementing chemicals on the veneer to harden on the tooth. Dr. Champagne repeats the process if more teeth require veneers. After the veneer is applied, Dr. Champagne removes excess cement, evaluates a persons bite, and makes any necessary ...

But, there are a few little things that may help you get the cost down. -Ask your insurance company if they could take anything off of the price. Although, it is unlikely they will take anything off (mine didn't) but you never know so it is somthing that I would check into. -Don't have all of your teeth covered. This is a major way to keep the cost down. You may just want to have the teeth that are shown when you talk covered with the porcelain veneers. In that case you may only have to have a few teeth covered. Which will in turn keep the price down. Another thing about my price is that even though my price in general was expensive.
