Abra "Crab" Scratch Tutorial by LuckeyMonkey So a lot of people have been wondering how to do the abra scratch, which is commonly called the crab scratch. To make the sound: 1 - Make a kissy face 2 - Put your finger against your lip (or, indeed, any part of your hand / arm / foot) 3 - Inhale whilst breathing words like "too" or "tooka" 4 - Use uvular oscillation and clickrolls to add rolls to the scratch 5 - Put into a beat 6 - Note that there are a massive variety of ways you can do this sound. The finger and thumb method described is the most common when it comes to putting the sound into a beat because it's possible to do it whilst holding a microphone. I did this tutorial for a part of my boyfriend, Fat Tony's tutorial series. You can check his AWESOME talent here at /fattonybbx I hope this video is explained well enough. After all, it is my first EVER tutorial so cut me some slack :p. If you have any questions feel free to comment :) Also check out my other beatboxing videos, rate, and subscribe :) Thanks!

Uvular Oscillation Description You know that dangly bit at the back of your throat? Well, that's your uvular. Everyone who snores can oscillate this! Method To make the uvular oscillation you must snore outwards!! You make a channel with the back of your tongue to direct the air over the uvular and the uvular flaps (oscillates) creating a fast 'kkkkkkkk' sound. When this is combined with other sounds you can do everything from kick rolls to timestretched vocals to phones to helicopters to daleks! For more tutorials visit

Beatbox tutorial - Cricket *Sigh* I love this sound. It's very special to me. Please look after it. I almost didn't want to teach you it. To make the sound... 1 - Learn the tooth whistle 2 - Do a tooth whistle in regular bursts 3 - Combine this with a uvular oscillation I suggest listening to actual crickets to get an idea of what pitch to use. Alveolar Trill (Rolling R) tutorial in Cantonese (to be English subtitled soon) Below is a brief translation done by a user MrPangutube, I hope this helps the English speakers. part 1 Introduction explains along the lines that this lesson is about the alveolar trill and the sound from the alveolar ridge doesn't exist for people who speak cantonese or english and so is difficult for the people of Hong Kong [who are mostly bilingual - cantonese\english] part 2 Within the diagram of the head (Fig 1), look at the alveolar ridge (presenter underlines in red). Where is it exactly? it is the bit at the top of the mouth which sticks out and where there is a little bit of a hard area and this is called the alveolar ridge. This is where the sound is produced from. How do you produce this sound then? I originally didn't know how to produce this sound. It is only when I was learning Italian which has this sound that I learnt how to do this. part 3 The sound that you produce when you snore is produced from the back of your mouth (presenter highlights in yellow) - ie produced from the yellow section and has this kind of sound (presenter gives 2 example sounds - both are ok) so it has a snoring sound. part 4 The second thing that you have to do. The tongue - where is the correct place to put it? (diagram 2 appears). When you pronounce the english "t" and "d" - the consonants, the position of the tongue is very similar. put the tip of your tongue on the alveolar ridge (presenter circles this position) part 5 There should be a gap between the tongue and the top ...

Audion - "Push" While many of Audion's 2009 singles showcase a newfound obsession with restraint, understatement, and barely-there dynamics, "Push" runs in the exact opposite direction and never looks back. A classic Audion track in the "Mouth to Mouth" mold, the aptly named "Push" traffics in unapologetically anthemic builds, precision calibrated to make'em go crazy on the dancefloor. Relentlessly chugging rhythms, buoyant blips of keyboard, room-swallowing low-end swells, and wave after wave of ecstatic climax. Sometimes, a great track is as simple as that.

Masha Allah! A brave female HAMAS dances with AK47!!! Some disagreement exists over the meaning of the word "Hamas". Hamas is an acronym of the Arabic phrase حركة المقاومة الاسلامية, or Harakat al-Muqāwama al-Islāmiyya or "Islamic Resistance Movement". In Arabic the word "Hamās" translates roughly to "enthusiasm, zeal, élan, or fighting spirit". The initial consonant is not the ordinary of English, but a slightly more rasping sound, the voiceless pharyngeal fricative, transcribed as; it is for this reason that speakers of Hebrew frequently use the voiceless uvular fricative, the equivalent sound for most Hebrew speakers. The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas's military wing formed in 1992, is named in commemoration of influential Palestinian nationalist Sheikh Izz ad-Din al-Qassam. Armed Hamas cells sometimes refer to themselves as "Students of Ayyash", "Students of the Engineer", or "Yahya Ayyash Units", to commemorate Yahya Ayyash, an early Hamas bomb-maker killed in 1996. ------------------------------------------ READ!!! How to Roll your RR's I wasn't able to roll my r's until I was about 22 years old. I was trying to learn Spanish and I was discouraged because I couldn't make the sound at all. I looked online for a video that told me how to do it, but I couldn't find anything helpful, so once I learned how to make the sound I decided to make a how-to-learn video. I learned two different ways to make the sound and I'm going to tell you how I learned them.
Radiofrequency Procedure for Snoring and Mild Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) Surgical treatment of habitual snoring and mild obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) can be carried out as an outpatient procedure under local anaesthesia. Options of modalities than can be utilized includes diathermy, sclerosant injection, pillar insertion, radiofrequency, and carbon dioxide (CO2)-laser. The aims are to remove the extra/redundant tissue or to induce stiffening effect which eventually lessens the fluttering and collapse of the palate and uvula onto the posterior pharyngeal wall. These surgical procedure may involve the soft palate, uvula or the palatopharyngeal folds either singly or in combinations depending on the findings. This video shows the outpatient surgical procedure as a treatment of habitual snoring by using a bipolar dual probe radiofrequency device. The tongue was pressed down by using a tongue depressor which was handled by the patient himself. Initial throat assessment was done and followed by local infiltrations of marcain:adrenaline mixture at multiple spots involving the soft palate and palatopharyngeal webs bilaterally. Once the numbing effect gained, the dual probe was gently introduced and pierced the epithelium and finally placed nicely into the mucosa until its insulated part (black colured) reached. The device was set at 10W Auto Stop mode and the foot paddle pressed when ready. This will be accompanied by peculiar sound produced by the machine and its stops automatically when the required energy delivered. In the soft palate, the probe ...
Album Review: Suckfish by Audion Released on Spectral Sound in 2005, Matthew Dears alter ego (one of them anyway) delivers some sweet bare bones, left field, acid house, type ***. This is what good electro sounds like. Trippy and intricate. Audion pushes the creative envelope without sounding like a try hard pretentious douche bag (hello, mstrkrft ?). Delving into minimalist trance, acid house territory without ever sounding contrived or redundant like a lot of house music you hear at those cheesy Gino dance clubs. This album is not bombastic in any way. There are quite a few bangers on here, but they were made with such care and love, that they never stagnate or get lost in tedium. Audion's songs are slow evolving little dance masterpieces. The song titles are also quite noteworthy; with such titles as Just ***ing, Titty *** and Your Place or Mine. This gives the album a sort of seedy, dirty, ***y feel to it, adding to the experience. Matthew Dears other stuff is quite cool, especially his self titled albums. Definitely worth checking out if you're jonesing for new sounds and actually good electro. 4.2/5 YWIR's Tip Jar
