Final Fantasy XIII Cie'th Stone 47 5 stars Unfocused Rage TheCie'th Stone side quest is the only side quest that im aware of in Final Fantasy XIII. You can start doing this in chapter 11, but many of these, you wont be able to complete until your crystarium increases. The side quest is like the hunts in Final Fantasy XII. you talk to a cie'th stone, theyll tell you about a monster that needs killing, and you go kill it. The monster will now appear on your map in the form of a red star, so all you need to do is follow it.

FFXIII Mission 47 Unfocused Rage HD (5 Star Rating) Mission 47 has you fighting against a Raktavija, a Cie'th and a formidable opponent. He has a shield on him that only goes a way when he is staggered, and when it is on he is immune to physical and resistant to everything else. He also has very strong magic attacks. I recommend you have two characters equipped with Speed Sashes so that they have the Random: Instant Stagger Passive Ability to help out the battle and the other character be equipped with magic boosting equipment. Also make sure every character has accessories equipped that increase magic resistance. Having at least 2 Witch's Bracelets equipped on everyone is good enough. Have these Paradigms: Guerilla (SAB/SEN/RAV) Relentless Assault (COM/RAV/RAV) Perpetual Magic (MED/MED/RAV) Aggression (COM/RAV/COM) At the start of the battle, keep casting Slow until it lands on him, and then switch to Relentless Assault. Keep attacking him and switch to Perpetual Magic if you need to heal. When he is staggered, his shield disappears and he is easier to fight. Now switch to Aggression and hammer him until he dies. If you're having troubles with this battle, consider using an Aegisol or a Fortisol or both before the battle. When his shield is gone, you can also cast Deprotect on him when his shield is gone.
