The "leading" Dems have nothing to say except bad things about each other, "Dem on Dem violence". Just more "silly party" stuff.

Check Dams are Great But Do Not Reduce Turbidity.AVI Check dams are used in ditches to slow the velocity of flowing water, reducing erosive potential. An additional benefit of check dams is to allow some sedimentation in the ponded water behind the dam. Sand and some larger silt can be removed using check dams; colloidal particles cannot. These microscopic particles, with a negative electrical charge, resist sedimentation and are the chief cause of turbidity, or cloudiness of the water. In this case, the dissolved PAM did not work as well as the granular PAM because the liquid was not applied evenly, missing some of the soil surface. The granular PAM was well distributed by mixing it with a handful of soil first. In practice, it could be mixed with fertilizer, seed, lime, or anything else being applied to the soil surface (and not incorporated, which fertilizer and lime should be but often are not).
