  • the big one.AVI This is the bigges tan oak that we got to fall not to bad i have cut bigger ones then this one. It was nice an straight we got a 40,20 and a 16 out of it not bad for tan oak. Nothing special on the cut just a face and I sniped it off to get it to lounch forward to get it closer to were the skidder had to come in at. Also I cut the stump alittle high cause there is a big cats face on it and wanted to some wood to work with and we are not cutting for scale if you look at the video of it on the landing you can see the hole all the way through the center of the butt cut.
  • 99 Construction guide using teak planks! ##READ DESCRIPTION## This is my first guide for a 99, and first video in general, i hope you enjoy and criticism and suggestions is much welcomed. so the basic overview of the guide is: PROS -fast and efficent, provides a ton of experience -depending on when the planks are bought, can be cheaper tan oak dining tables - the general price for teleporting to your house works out to be cheaper than using a butler, so its cheaper to transport the logs - teak tables require less planks than oak, making it so more can be made in a single trip. -a familiar can be used in this strategy making it so more planks can be made in a single trip. Because of the ratio of time/ tables made, this rivals the speed of the butler, but does not beat it. -money doesn't need to be carried around, saving space for teak planks CONS -the speed of the butler is faster, though like i said before because of the mass amounts of wood you can bring in this strategy, this is close -lots of clicking an teleporting, no room for slacking really. -familiars must be bought -the teak planks can only be bought for a good deal every so often, as mentioned in the video So overall i enjoyed making this video and i plan to make more in the future if this is well received. Suggestions, comments and general feedback of any kind about the video will be much appreciated, Thanks! Note, runescape is a property of Jagex ltd and i do not own runescape in any way, i simply play the game.

  • Reclaimed California Oak- Quarter Sawn Paul Darafeev video tapes how a reclaimed California Oak tree is quarter sawn in the Santa Cruz Mountains of Central California. This 8 foot long, 26" diameter log is reduced to timber, which is then sliced into about 1" to 2" thick boards. The thinner planks are then are run through a sticker machine and turned into flooring. California Oak is also referred to as Tan Oak, and is occasionally but down by loggers seeking softwood and redwood trees. Logs that are not reclaimed will either rot where they are felled, or turned into firewood. This is a precious resource which can be utilized for furniture, flooring, and accessories, and has yet to be discovered.

  • Plant Kingdom Check us out at Plants provide nourishment for our bodies and souls. With the help of protists and fungi, plants provide the oxygen we breathe and the food that sustains us -- either directly or indirectly, by feeding other animals. Plants provide shade over our heads and cool carpets under our feet while surrounding us with beautiful colors and marking the change of seasons. Prominent plants give us a handle on ecological communities. Descriptions such as "Redwood-Tanoak Forest" or "Oak Grassland" indicate not only the plants we may find there but the animals, fungi, and climate as well. Classification of the plant kingdom can be especially confusing to the amateur naturalist. For example, according to modern botany: * A palm tree has more in common with a blade of grass than with other trees. * A strawberry plant is more closely related to an apple or apricot tree than to a clover or geranium. * A Ginko (Maidenhair) tree is so different from other plants that it is in a phylum by itself. But if you have to group it with other plants, it belongs with conifers such as Pine trees.
