Raidmax Smilodon Mid-tower ATX Case Review My video review of the Raidmax Smilodon mid-tower ATX pc case. This one has green LEDs and does not come with a power supply. There are also Smilodons that comes with various power supplies, and you can get it with blue LEDs, but the case itself is still exactly the same as this one. I did not mention in this review that the plexiglass side also has a place to install an 80mm fan over the cpu area. I did not install a fan here, rather I built a plastic tunnel over the top of my core2duo cpu to let it's heat sink fan suck in fresh air straight in, per recommendations on the Intel website. Overall, I've been pretty pleased with this case, it gets a lot of compliments. There are 3 really pretty green LED stripes across the front and the side fan is also a green LED fan. All of the fans are quiet. The side doors opening and coming off is a great feature for being able to easily clean out the computer every month or so to prevent overheating, very important for a gaming rig. My only two sticky points on this case is that although the front door is pretty, it has to be open when I'm using the USB, headphone jack, mic input or DVD on the front, or even to turn the computer on. Just a minor annoyance sometimes. And secondly, I wish the drive bays were painted black to match the case, it would look better.
