  • Waterboarding is a psy-op to divert scrutiny from real atrocities The Stench of Truth 166 It just dawned on me that the fact that waterboarding remaining in the news like it has is just a convenient tool to divert attention away from the REAL atrocities and even deadly torture that is taking place. It is my belief that horrible torture is being done, and that some have even died in the process and that waterboarding has been given to us as a distraction to hide the true horrors this country's leaders have authorized.

I deleted parts 3-6 because they were confusing people as I had shown them out of order to emphasize the parts that showed the debunking. I forgot the part that showed how he moved the bowl of water with magnets was in the third video. Sorry. The magician was shown explaining an elaborate pulley system and magnets was being used. All you need to know is when the reporter controlled the conditions, and provided her own bowl of water without magnets embedded in the plastic, he failed to move it! /end of update. This is the final part of the CCTV show exposing a fraud and catching him in the act of cheating. Please look at the other 5 parts! Edited down to fit on YouTube. WHY? c) at 2:56 the guy in the magician explains how something underneath pokes the bricks over, then at 3:05 you can see him feel with his finger for the indent under the cloth and places the brick over the indent. d)3:41 -3:49 you can see close ups of something causing the table cloth up because something pushes it from beneath. e)4:08 she feels that there's an indent herself, and points it out to him. But geopolitical divisions are expected to play a vital role in the nomination due to an unwritten rule of power balance between the predominantly Muslim north and majority Christian south. The ruling People's Democratic Party has long maintained a geopolitical zoning system for choosing their leadership. And now all eyes are on Jonathan, a Christian, as he prepares to choose a deputy. By the time I had finished there was a lot of blue post it notes sticking out the bible. Its an interesting question should I set all the time I have spent going through the bible in detail to naught and just let Christianity have its peace, or should I actively engage in its demise. • Iraq lawmakers' pay under scrutiny It has been more than two months since Iraq's general elections that have failed to bring about an effective government. While the recount of votes continues, the 325 members of the outgoing parliament continue to draw relatively gigantic salaries, which is further angering a public already frustrated by the drawn-out political uncertainty. The annual salary of an Iraqi MP is almost 40 times the estimated average yearly income of an ordinary resident. The commission that monitors government integrity has called for the amounts paid to the officials to be reviewed. Al Jazeera's Mike Hannah reports from Baghdad, the Iraqi capital. [May 8, 2010]
  • ***ist Republicans shield Sarah Palin from media scrutiny Fox News now has a propaganda film up about the possible next president of the United States; but the actual press is not allowed near her. With one single exception: in a staggeringly ***ist decision, Steve Schmidt has allowed Palin to be interviewed by a soft-focus, non-political magazine, People. There was also a lifestyle interview on jogging and diet in the WSJ, but that was obviously done before her selection. But no actual political journalists, asking questions about what her, you know, views are on, say, Iran or Fannie Mae or the EITC or the battle between Shia and Sunni Islam. Now: can you imagine a man being selected as vice-president and only giving feature interviews to People? McCain's treatment of Palin is increasingly one of the most ***ist displays I've ever seen in national politics. They somehow think this woman cannot handle the press. Why? And a bleg to readers. Can you find me the first press conferences for every vice-presidential nominee since 1976? That's the modern era. Let's see how glaring a ***ist double standard there is. This is incredible, totally incredible. A vice presidential candidate isn't going to be available to the press for two weeks? Two weeks? In September. We have this total unknown who could be president of the United States next January. And she's in hiding for two weeks. She needs to be in front of the press now. The United States and the world cannot have this total unknown foisted on the ...

  • The Great Lie of the Nanny State Many of us, after years of indoctrination at our government schools, were left with a sense that there is a great government force working hard every day to protect us and look after our best interest. We were told that government standards keep us safe from disease, that government highway regulations keep us safe from car accidents, that federal agencies make sure that the food we eat will be healthy. The result of all of this? Americans everywhere drive more carelessly, do not research what they put on their plate and take medications that leave them sicker, rather than healthier. For government officials, free from the scrutiny of the free market and any sort of competition, they typically have one primary goal once they have obtained their coveted position of power- to retain that power and gain even more. This is a simple fact of human nature, that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. A great example is the Food and Drug Administration, which after obtaining the confidence of the republics masses has been responsible for regular introduction of medications that maim and even kill those who trust its oversight. This is hardly surprising when one considers that many FDA regulators were installed after terms as drug company lobbyists. Likewise, Federal officials entrusted with Americas food supply have allowed the greatest food experiment in the history of mankind- the use of Genetically Modified crops. The dangers of this ...

And this week, biofuel experts from around Asia are meeting in India to discuss further development. However, Al Jazeera's Matt McClure reports from remote Uttar Pradesh, about the controversy that is raging over growing fuel instead of food.
  • YouTube Haters and Internet Scrutiny People get haters all the time, I get it. Hell, I get comments all the time insulting me for being gay (at least according to them), being fat, having emo hair, and not shaving (which is apparently also bad). This shouldn't be a surprise to people, and yet it is. I'm not saying you should give up on YouTube-ing, nor am I saying you're purposely trying to generate ill-will by doing what you want to do. But if you're exposing yourself (don't take that the wrong way, pervs :P) on such a widely global and public forum as the Internet, and specifically YouTube, it should be expected that you're making yourself vulnerable to public scrutiny, even if it's extremely negative from the faceless (and in my opinion, brainless) trolls. • AIDS CIRCUMCISION FALLACY Dr. Dean Edell discusses the misleading and unsound arguments in the current drive to circumcise Africa. Why do/did you have foreskin? The foreskin occupies a prominent position on an important organ. The foreskins location and structure indicate that it is the most important sensory tissue of the penis. Its persistence over millions of years suggests that it has played a role in the propagation of the species. A well-integrated organ Structurally, the penis is highly integrated. The glans, foreskin and skin of the penile shaft function as a single unit, not as a collection of separate parts with entirely different functions. The functions of the glans and foreskin are similar, and overlapping, but come fully into their own at different times during intercourse. Simple sensations The outer surface of the foreskin is specialized to detect feather-light touch and other sensations, including painful ones. The infamous zipper injury is an extreme example of the sort of damage the outer skin was designed to detect and prevent, long before the zipper posed a threat to the uninitiated. Compared with the true (outer) skin of the foreskin, the glans is only feebly sensitive to light touch, pain, heat and cold. This is part of the reason we call the foreskin the primary sensory tissue of the penis. Without the foreskin, the end of the penis is numb to a host of sensations that tell the owner whether one of his most prized organs is in good company, or should move to safety. Complex ...
  • US foreclosures under scrutiny The number of homes being repossessed in the United States fell nationwide this past month, and could fall even further. But hundreds of thousands of Americans are on the brink of losing their homes, amid accusations that banks have been wrongly handling foreclosures. The foreclosure crisis began with the recession of 2008, when the US housing bubble burst. Lenders were faced with millions of defaults at once, and lacked the manpower to process all the paperwork. This contributed to what has become known as "robo-signing", bank staff signing off on repossessions, without properly checking all the documents. Now there is an ongoing legal investigation into foreclosure practices in all fifty states. And several major financial institutions have temporarily halted thousands of foreclosure proceedings while this is going on. Al Jazeera's Scott Heidler traveled to the frontlines of the foreclosure crisis, to the city of Portland, Maine, where the allegations first emerged.
