rockabilly 40s 50s hair tutorial fake victory rolls pin up,goth psychobilly A tutorial on how to get that victory roll 40's look, my first video, be kind! oh and please excuse the no makeup look,i can be lazy,you would think i'd have made some effort if i was making a video ... but no..too lazy,spur of the moment! the music throughout is bei mir bist du schoen by the andrews sisters If anybody manages to do their hair from this video id love to see a picture or response :-) if anybody wants to embed this video please ask first. since ive been getting a lot of questions about my hair colour here it is. the dye is electric blue by special effects (its sort of blue purple, fades to purple after a while) and got it from beeunique just google it, i cant post a link here i think the bleach i use is 40% (my hair is quite dark) and when i have roots i apply the bleach to the roots only so it doesnt fry the already bleached bits! as for the blue the longest lasting dye ive found is special effects, i leave it on for 1-2 hours (its ok since its vegetable dye) and so it usually lasts about 2 months rather than two weeks. i also use a conditioning mask once a week :-) hope this helps!

Narvel Felts rockabilly - 4 songs Narvel Felts sings two Clyde McPhatter songs here. His 1960 version of Honey Love is like a legend. It's so great but it was withheld by radio in the US because of the ***ual meaning. It was a big hit in my area of Canada. I found that many young people didn't know the meaning anyway, just a song about love. It was on the Pink label, which I think was part of MGM. He started to have some rockabilly success in the late 50s on the Mercury label, but no national hits. In the 60s he recorded but it didn't get far. Then you may know he became a country star in the 70s. 1) Honey Love - R&B hit for McPhatter and the Drifters in 1954. My 45 is a Canadian issue. 2) Come What May - McPhatter's 1958 hit. Narvel 1962 unreleased 3) Cry Baby Cry - Mercury # 71190 in 1957, backed with Lonesome Feeling 4) Tongue-Tied Jill - 1962 unreleased Here are the Pink releases I know of.
