  • Skylight - Mathew Maokh (Original Composition) Download the song for free here : Hello everyone ! I know it's been quite a long time, but here am I , bringing you a new composition called Skylight. I think that this song sounds like Astronauts. With some calm and repetitive melodics at the beginning, before the big distortion boom. And yes, that's why you might feel the song quite repetitive. I was very inspired by post rock to write this song. I would recommend you to listen to (for the ones who don't know them) : Explosions In The Sky, Hammock, The Album Leaf, This Will Destroy You, Mogwai. And yes, just wanted to add this too : I take an immense pleasure to play the two solos on this song. :) Hope you'll like them, as much as the whole song. • Alex the smart parrot passes away September 17, 2007 Alex, a parrot that could count to six, identify colors and even express frustration with repetitive scientific trials, has died after 30 years of helping researchers better understand the avian brain. Alex could count to six, identify colors and even express frustration with repetitive scientific trials. The cause of Alex's death was unknown. The African grey parrot's average life span is 50 years, Brandeis University scientist Irene Pepperberg said. Alex was discovered dead in his cage Friday, she said, but she waited to release the news until this week so grieving researchers could get over the shock and talk about it. "It's devastating to lose an individual you've worked with pretty much every day for 30 years," Pepperberg told The Boston Globe. "Someone was working with him eight to 12 hours every day of his life." Alex's advanced language and recognition skills revolutionized the understanding of the avian brain. After Pepperberg bought Alex from an animal shop in 1973, the parrot learned enough English to identify 50 objects, seven colors and five shapes. He could count up to six, including zero, was able to express desires, including his frustration with the repetitive research. Video Watch Alex teach humans about birds » He also occasionally instructed two other parrots at the lab to "talk better" if they mumbled, though it wasn't clear whether he was simply mimicking researchers. Alex hadn't reached his full cognitive potential and was ...

SUBSCRIBE to receive latest updates and further information. http for more info Several patents pending on this product. The whole video is repetitive. You may only want to watch a minute or so. There is nothing dramatic at the end. The clock is up there, not for me to hit, but to prove that the video was not cut and edited. I have not seen any other golf net that provided extensive video footage of how it is used. Later, I will add videos with slow motion footage. It has a very small footprint and its small size allows golf practice almost anywhere one can comfortably swing a golf club. It can be used almost anywhere a typical golf net is used and more!! It can look like the ball is almost hitting the very top of the face. Not true, it is hitting about 2/3 of the way up, then ascending before it descends. Please note, it is a REAL golf ball, NOT FOAM!
  • KT Tape: General Elbow Pain The elbow consists of three bones coming together at a junction, as well as the muscles that serve to flex, extend, and rotate the arm. The elbow also consists of ligaments that hold these bones in place, tendons that attach muscles to bones, cartilage that allows for smooth movement of the bones at their joints, and nerves that provide functionality to the arm. Each of these different parts can become irritated or strained resulting in pain. Most commonly elbow pain occurs due to a condition called tennis elbow, or lateral epicondylitis. This pain is often the result of overuse and repetitive strain due to the repetitive or blunt bending of the wrist under resistance. Other causes of elbow pain include pinched nerves, inflammation or rupturing of the biceps or triceps tendons, hyperextension, or dislocation. The most common treatments for elbow pain include rest and ice. KT Tape is used to provide support and give relief to associated tendons and ligaments, as well as relax the surrounding muscles. Elbow pain is many times due to inflamed areas, and the therapeutic effects from this KT Tape application are optimal for reducing the inflammation and pain.

  • Andreas Stahel The music of Andreas Stahel oscillates between repetitive trance and multicoloured tapestries of sound. The debut CD of the classically-trained flautist Andreas Stahel is at once compact and fascinatingly multi-layered, a work which defies categorisation. Inspired by minimal music and evidently also by folkloric music, Stahel (born 1967) has found a musical language which draws its drive from repetitive patterns and captivates through multicoloured tonality: sometimes it's difficult to believe that this sound-cosmos emanates from a single person. Stahel... doesn't resort to electronic tricks, but has accumulated a number of special techniques by trial and error. These include rhythmical circular breathing, multiple overblows, the intentional use of key noise and the combination of singing with flute playing. Overtone singing, used widely in Buddhism, and the scenic performance elements lend Stahel's performance a ritual, ceremonial element. He himself is also interested in the meditative influence of music... though Stahel doesn't seem esoteric either on- or offstage, rather an artist with a clear sense of direction, driven by curiousity and sincerity.

  • Computer Repetitive Stress Injuries The use of computers in colleges and offices has increased substantially over the past few years. This has resulted in an increase in computer repetitive stress injuries (CRSI) that include shoulder pain, neck pain, headache, backache, wrist pain, eye discomfort, and carpal tunnel syndrome.1 Today, nearly 200000 Americans suffer from work related musculoskeletal injuries due to poor design of work place2. Over one half of these injuries are due to use of computers.2 In the year 1994, 7897 cases of carpel tunnel syndrome was reported due to repetitive typing.2 More specifically, at an engineering firm, 46% of the employees suffered from neck pain, 38.5% had headaches, 30.8% had shoulder pain, and 30.8% had back pain due to computer use.2 There is a huge imbalance in health care allocation in the United States with 95% of the investments being used to treat diseases, and only 5% being used for prevention3. Taking this into consideration, this video intends to increase public awareness and talks about the various ergonomic techniques that can be used to prevent CRSI. Target audience: Professionals and students who regularly use computers at work places and homes. Main message: Use easy ergonomic techniques to prevent computer related stress injuries. Created for: HMI 7544 Epidemiology; University of Missouri-Columbia, Winter Semester 2008. References: 1. Smith, MJ, Conway, FT, & Karsh, B. (1999). Occupational Stress in Human Computer Interaction. • Autism - Repetitive Behaviors Like Rocking and Flapping Comments to this video are now closed. Video featured in Wired Magazine Stress and how we as humans deal with it is the subject of this video. I believe neurotypical people can sometimes misinterpret an emotion such as stress when viewing the behaviors of autistic people like me and others. Every human experiences stress. Part of our shared experience is the emotion of stress (fight or flight). Whenever we feel we are being judged, we feel stress. Have you ever experienced the stress to perform or live up to an "image" in your life? If so, you have something in common with autistic people. Most people experience stress in their lives to perform under pressure, whether it is in your job or with your spouse or family. Both autistic people and "normal" people experience stress and pressure. However, stress can manifest itself in autistic people in ways that are misunderstood by so called "normal" people. When both autistic and "normal" people experience stress, it often manifests itself physcially in what is psychiatrically called "repetitive behaviors". So called "normal" people exhibit stress with repetitive behaviors just like autistic people. However, their repetitive behaviors are considereed socially "appropriate" and are not subject to judgement. Neurotypical repetitive behaviors are considered "normal" or in the mainstream. No one would consider that they need to be modified or "cured". However, for autistic people, because our stress coping mechanisms are different ...

  • The Sound of Prosperity Audio CD I found a number of planetary vibratory frequencies that correspond to the energy of a particular planet. Each of these frequencies have ancient and long standing associations with the planets. The problem is, how does one generate these specific frequencies, filter them of negative effects, and record them without repetitive sampling error. The very real possibility of the planets creating physical effects is the bread and butter of astrology. They have claimed for a very long time that various parts of anatomy and even illnesses were associated with various parts of the solar system. So various specific illnesses, body parts would correspond in a sympathetic way to what was happening with the planets in our celestial environment. Many disease conditions have been treatable via herbs associated with specific astrological energies. If herbs have some form of this vibrational planetary energy in them, what would happen if we introduce this pure sound wave into the body? Enter therapeutic planetary energy. These recordings are the result of years of study. I have discovered a way to isolate the specific frequencies associated with the various planets that exist around us. I have also discovered a way to filter the planetary energies for their positive effects and record them in a smooth, pleasant manner devoid of repetitive recording noise or error. I have been using these energies for a year. Their effects are nothing short of phenomenal. Over the next few weeks, we will ...
