  • Left 4 Dead 2 - Bridge Over Trebled Slaughter on Expert Realism [Achievement Guide] A short video showing me and some friends getting the "Brighe Over Trebled Slaughter" achivement in L4D2 on expert realism.. In order to get it you need to cross the bridge in the parish finale in less than 3 minutes. our strategy was to save some useful items for the finale, which made it pretty easy as you can see in the video, however saving these items is harder than using them. if you want to have it really easy i recommend just playing it on easy difficulty and then saving the items as we did. i used the demo smoother for the first time in this video so dont expect it to be perfect, it will be usefull for other videos im going to make in the future though. demo smoother tutorial: demo download link (for the skeptics): Important: since demos stop working after updates you have to edit the file "steam.inf" in your /left4dead2/ folder all you have to change is the first line to "PatchVersion=" now you will be able to watch the demo even after updates. switch the number back to whatever it was after you have watched the demo.

  • Magic Realism Rob Gonsalves is a Canadian painter of magic realism Both his parents were Romanian Gypsies who travelled from place to place in Romania. After 15 years they summoned up the money to travel to Canada. Then he was born in Toronto, Ontario in 1959. He won the 2005 Governor General's Award in the Children's Literature - Illustration category for Imagine a Day. He is also an accomplished guitarist. During his childhood, Gonsalves developed an interest in drawing from imagination using various media. By age twelve, his awareness of architecture grew as he learned perspective techniques and began to do his first paintings and renderings of imagined buildings. After an introduction to artists Dalí and Tanguy, Gonsalves began his first surrealist paintings. The "Magic Realism" approach of Magritte along with the precise perspective illusions of Escher came to be influences in his future work. In his post college years, Gonsalves worked full time as an architect, also painting ***-l'œil murals and theatre sets. After an enthusiastic response in 1990 at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition, Gonsalves devoted himself to painting full time. Although Gonsalves' work is often categorized as surrealistic, it differs due to the fact that the images are deliberately planned and result from conscious thought. Ideas are largely generated by the external world and involve recognizable human activities, using carefully planned illusionist devices. Gonsalves injects a sense of magic into ...

  • Speed Painting Photo Realism I did this as an excercise for the purpose of, quite simply, practice. It's been a while since I attempted anything photo-real... It's very good to do this kind of thing because it strengthens your freehand drawing abilities, as well as developing an eye for detail. Freehand drawn in photoshop cs2 (from a reference photo off to the side) with a wacom tablet. time-lapsed... real time was about 3 and a half hours. UPDATE: For the people that think this is fake-- simply do a little research. It's as easy as clicking on my username to see the list of all of my other videos. There you will find an array of different subjects and different mediums... Including photo real techniques with real paint. It it's a pretty reasonable conclusion that if I can do the things I do with real paint-- why would I feel the need or insecurity to fake it with the "less impressive" digital mediums? Why waste my time? You could also consider the efforts it would take to fake such a thing- consider the layering of the shadows and gradients... Look at how carefully it is done in these vids. There is a visible build-up of LAYERS of tones shadows and colors. To fake something like that would take so much effort, why would a guy who can do all of the other OBVIOUS traditional medium paintings on the same channel waste his time? TO MANY PEOPLE ASK: Why "photorealism"? Why not just use a camera? The answer is simple. I've made the point many times in my replies, comments and descriptions. But I'll make ...

Mainly to help train my mind to memorize details for when I need to make stuff up on the spur of the moment. Well, here I put my experience to the test and attempt a photo-real pic of a completely fictitious person that I made up. She does not exist. I wanted to create a flash camera spontaneous type of pic.. Like when someone just snaps a pic of someone at a party and gets them by surprise (hence the goofy look on her face.) So here it is... There after, he teamed up with the likes of Robert Crumb and S. Clay Wilson as a contributor to the iconic Zap Comix. In 1979 he birthed and became the Godfather of lowbrow and, in 1994 founded JUXTAPOZ Magazine. His aesthetic encompasses Hotrod and surf culture the seamy side of Hollywood grudge, punk, hipster, slacker, and scuzz, the epitome of current bad taste.
  • Fantastic Realism Painters Fantastic realism The Vienna School of Fantastic Realism is a group of artists founded in Vienna in 1946. It includes Ernst Fuchs, Arik Brauer, Rudolf Hausner, Wolfgang Hutter, Anton Lehmden and Fritz Janschka, all students of Professor Albert Paris Gutersloh at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. It was Gutersloh's emphasis on the techniques of the Old Masters that gave the Fantastic Realist painters a grounding in realism (expressed with a clarity and detail some have compared to early Flemish painting) combined with religious and esoteric symbolism. • Digital Painting Photo-Realism Again I decided It was time for me to do another practice piece... I have been tampering a lot with traditional mediums (which I will eventually post up here) and I wanted to freehand paint a photo-realistic pic again in photoshop primarily as a self-discipline study of color on skin in portraits. The main purpose is to attempt to "see" the various colors that exist in a face from all of the different light sources and reflections in the environment around. For the purpose of exercise, the reference photo is set off to the side where I can look at it and try to re-create (from scratch) ---not only the exact mapping and proportions, but also the colors from just straight default photoshop swatches. (No eye-drop sampler off of the photo! That would defeat the purpose of this disciplinary exercise!) I am trying to train my eyes to see the ever so subtle colors that appear in a portrait in even the smoothness of a baby's face. Ironically, this is a lot harder than any other photo real portrait I have done digitally so-far, because there is no heavy detail to help set any heavy contrasts... But instead, extremely subtle shifts in not only fine skin detail, but microscopic doses of color. Once again--- completely freehand drawn in photoshop CS, using a Wacom Tablet. The computer does not aid in way what-so-ever regarding the freehand re-creation such as drawing and selection of color. It is exactly as a paint artist has to choose and mix from tubes of paint, and freehand draw on a ...

To make small crosshair type in console "cl_crosshair_dynamic 0" (it's not a cheat, it changes only the form of crosshair, it doesn't change accuracy). Console can be activated in the Options menu (go to "Keyboard/Mouse", then Enable the "Allow Developer Console" option) and then displayed by pressing the tilde (~) key in game. If you have X hp, first aid kit will heal 0.8*(100-X). I played without music cause it sometimes stifle zombies noise. There is no cheat. Just luck & skill. If you think that it isn't expert look closely at health (my or bots). Infected damage on expert 20hp (10hp from back). New zombies can't spawn if most of them still alive because of limitation of zombies (thanks Valve). If you don't kill them in the beginning you haven't problems with them in the end.
