We have just purchased a great assortment of hard-to-find Beatles vinyl rarities including the controversial Butcher Cover version of Yesterday and Today, six of the original fan-club-only 7 Xmas flexis, and more As a quick recap for those of you who are unaware, the butcher cover is infamous for its depiction of the band dressed in white coats and covered with decapitated baby dolls and pieces of meat. The records were on sale this way for one day, caused much outrage, and were immediately recalled. Rather than scrapping the covers entirely, Capitol pasted on a different picture and redistributed them. They are now amongst the most collectable records in the world. This copy is a 3rd State (peeled, with the original cover showing). They often get ripped in the peeling process, but this one is in excellent condition. We are putting it out at $599.99.
