In Brussels was a huge transnational march with about 100.000 participants. It was important and powerful, but only a single Day of Action isn't enough! It can be the start for further struggles in the near future. Greece's sellout is just the beginning... • Chhayapath - Echo of an Old Ballad Several questions, the answers to which are unknown to the proletariats, have been raised in the film Chhayapath. The global problem of displacement, where the sufferers lead a life without identity of their own self is the motivation behind the film. Politics of separation acts violently in those lives, who have suffered for the loss of true identity. The cruel world laughs at them, and they slowly turn out to be rebellious. The film Echo of an Old Ballad recollects the memoirs of these individuals who have lost everything, along with their identity. They turn out to be a speechless entity in the real sphere. Their presence are less felt and understood. They live because they have to live. The connection to the root is strong, but the courage to fight against the system is minimal. The fear psychosis works in their id and ego, in ways that, an alter-ego of their own self is developed within. In the film Chhayapath ~ Echo of an Old Ballad, the alter-ego of SOMU quivers his own self with questions. The questions are political, but they also draw a circle round the domain of the protagonist. SOMU, a refugee from Bangladesh, is aware of the fact that he had been converted into a material being. He is now living in his memories. He is observational and thoughtful. And for that reason, he jots the details of his observation in his dairy. The events, that happens to him and around, does not find importance to his thought process. He draws a new mindscape of his own. He enjoys ...

Necropolis Reborn is a sequel of sorts to Necropolis Awakened, which was featured in such publications as Fangoria, Rue Morgue, Film Threat and Creature Corner and gained great reviews - most commenting on the ambitious nature of the movie and the amount which was accomplished given the very limited budget. Rue Morgue called it " Pulp Fiction meets Day Of The Dead. " Fangoria said " This combination postapocalyptic car-chase flick/zombie shocker has an overall energy and professionalism that make it stand out in the indie field. The Whites achievement is even more remarkable given that they handled practically all the production chores (as well as most of the lead roles) themselves. • CCP Writer Under House Arrest Follow us on TWITTER: Like us on FACEBOOK: Xin Ziling, a writer in the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is under house arrest. He signed a petition to People's Congress with over 20 senior cadres and suggested in his speech that Hu Jintao supports Wen Jiabao's political reform. Authorities claim Xin went against the Four Cardinal Principles and forced him to examine himself. Another writer within the CCP, Tie Liu, told NTD (New Tang Dynasty TV) that Xin Ziling signed a petition to People's Congress with 22 senior cadres urging authorities to fulfill the Constitution's Article 35 to give people the freedom of speech. Those who countersigned include Li Rui, Li Pu, Hu Jiwei, and Jiang Ping. People's Daily published 5 articles, including "Clear Up the Source" to refute the petition. This year, Xin Ziling gave a speech named "Situation and Responsibilities" to science cadres and again irritated authorities. According to Tie, when Xin Ziling went to Nanchang, Jiangxi to give lectures in March, authorities ordered him to cancel the lectures. After Xin returned to Beijing, people from the Army's Commission for Discipline Inspection talked with him, and accused him of having three serious problems in his speech. Tie Liu (writer) said: "First, Xin's speech on China now experiencing crony capitalism was criticized to be against the Four Cardinal Principles. It should be socialism instead of capitalism. Second, Xin's speech that Hu Jintao should support Wen ...

  • Arjun Sen [By: Jotugriho] Recent incidences of West Bengal indicate a good nexus among opportunists, corrupt, nepotists people. The trend of incidences lead anyone to ponder over the violation of "Human Rights" in West Bengal. Sometime incidences remind acts of "Regimented Stalinist"!! The group of the Regimented Stalinist has been evolved in West Bengal within the "neo-Proletariats" with a view to curb the corruption, nepotism of the Congress-lead Government during early 70s. In West Bengal the group of Regimented Stalinist and the clusters of "nouveau-riche Marxists" have made it clear again and again that mass-corruption and nepotisms would continue for the benefits of the regimented interests of outright corrupt politicians of West Bengal. The chain of events in Bengal reminds me the rise of STATE POWER as a power of "Comprador Bourgeoisie" (instead of the power of Labourers)!! Under these circumstances, the song triggers my mind whether it is a kind of protest against the practice of "FASCISM" in West Bengal!! Jai Guru!

  • 15 Minutes to Study: Campbell Edition: Great Britain Industry Answers to question 1-5 not included in info :( 6. The factory system put an end to the cottage industry, the putting out system, and agrarian life. Also in the factory system, laborers could be watched, money was saved by having workers under the same roof, allowed control over quality of the product and it was a mass production of goods that were produced faster, more efficient, and cheaper than before. Workers endured a new workplace disciple in a day with monotonous movement ran by clocks and whistles. 7. Iron was the material used for the building of the machines, as well as for factories and railroads, which were very important things during the Industrial Revolution. 8. The steam engine, invented by James Watt, powered all the other inventions of the time period, making it the most crucial in the supplying capabilities in Great Britain. 9. Many people become deformed from being cramped in the coal mines. People died from being caught in the machines and sickness was quickly and easily spread due to the poor conditions in the factories and homes. Workers were usually dirty and smelled, and black lung was a common disease. 10. Women and children worked as long and as hard as the men did, but were payed less for their labor. Many factories hired them because they were cheaper and women, even when pregnant, were not allowed to miss work. 11. Capital is wealth, so its no surprise that Capitalism revolves around making money. The three characteristics of a capitalist ...

  • OSHO: Why Is Communication So Difficult? OSHO International Foundation -- . Osho, a contemporary mystic has spoken on virtually every aspect of human consciousness. In these talks, the human mind is put under the microscope as never before, ***yzed down to the smallest wrinkle. In this talk Osho responds to a question Why is communication so difficult, particularly between lovers? ".... communication as such is difficult. Of course it is more difficult between lovers. But first you have to understand the general difficulty of communication. Each mind has been conditioned by different parents, different teachers, different priests, different politicians. It is a different world in itself. And when two minds try to communicate, as far as the ordinary mundane things are concerned, there is no difficulty. But the moment they start moving beyond things into the world of concepts, communication starts becoming more and more difficult. munication is possible with equals, and communication is possible beyond the mind. You will find here with my people, slowly, slowly a communication is developing. As their consciousness goes higher, they will start understanding many things which they were not able to understand before." Join the OSHO Talks Video Translation Project:
  • Bring It On A look at different cultures within civilizations both tend to go through the same cycles of evolution over and over. The cause of the fall of a civilization occurred when a cultural elite became a parasitic elite, leading to the rise of internal and external proletariats. The Philosophy of Civilization is the idea that there are dual opinions within society: one regarding civilization as purely material and another regarding civilization as both ethical and material. The current world crisis is due to humanity having lost the ethical conception of civilization. Civilization "is the sum total of all progress made by man in every sphere of action and from every point of view in so far as the progress helps towards the spiritual perfecting of individuals as the progress of all progress."

Read the full blog here: This blog preview was made by TravelPod using the TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow creator. Entry from: Chuandixia, China Entry Title: "RRRRRustic" Entry: "As we alighted from the subway at the end of the line and began searching for the bus stop which would take us even further west of Beijing, into the hills and hopefully in the direction of Jietai temple, the phrase book became utterly essential. The problem is that even if you pronounce the phrase exactly as you see it written, the chance that you will be understood is at best minimal, owing to the fact that mandarin is a tonal language and two thirds of our group have thick northern accents while the other is tone deaf. To be honest we copped out and paid a taxi to take us the rest of the way, by showing the driver the written pinyin (Chinese characters) for Jietai Temple in the LP. Never mind. The 1500 year old Buddhist temple is in the middle of a pine forest and has a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. Some of the trees are over 1000 years old and their limbs must be supported by metal poles, the ornate temple buildings contain sculptures of Buddha and Boddhisattvas (wise beings who eschew enlightenment to help other people reach it) and the whole place is laced with the aroma of incense. We managed to catch a local bus to the next temple, 10km up the road and deeper into the forest: Tanzhe. It is even older than Jietai, built in the ...
