  • Terminally ill refused palliative care Sudbury CCAC is responsible by our government to dedicate home health care services to terminally ill patients like myself. This is the introductory video in a series detailing the health care crisis you may face when deciding to die at home with dignity and palliative care. As a palliative care patient declared to be in the "end of life" series of life stages I have now been without any nursing or personal support services since Nov. 20th. A friend, power of attorney and a skydiver is currently keeping me alive -literally alone because; This agency put my file on "temporary" suspension of services on Nov. 20th when I refused to sign a contract specific to me, detailing that I will give up my human rights to dignity, safety, proper health care and the right to make complaints to the proper authorities if my life is compromised. Furthermore, 2 criminal charges were included-to which I had to admit guilt-in order to lift the health care suspension. These charges disturb me because the incidents never occurred, were never reported/complained, the police were never contacted nor was I ever charged or found guilty of these criminal acts. These were a direct attempt to undermine my personal integrity which resulted in no agency wanting to service me without ever talking to me, or investigating these 'allegations' (even CCAC admits they were "allegations" of threatening and harrassment which they have never investigated or received complaints for). Now I am still without ...
