Tuma Bina Rahyo Na Jay - Mirabai Devotional Bhajan Meerabai (Rajasthani: मीराबाई) (c.1498-c.1547AD) (alternate orthographies: Meera; Mira; Meera Bai) was an aristocratic Hindu mystical singer and sahajiya (apasampradaya) devotee of lord Krishna from Rajasthan and one of the most significant figures of the Sant tradition of the Vaishnava bhakti movement. Some 12-1300 prayerful songs or bhajans attributed to her are popular throughout India and have been published in several translations worldwide. In the bhakti tradition, they are in passionate praise of lord Krishna. Details of her life, which has been the subject of several films, are pieced together from her poetry and stories recounted by her community and are of debatable historical authenticity, particularly those that connect her with the later Tansen. On the other hand, the traditions that make her a disciple of Ravidas who disputed with Rupa Goswami are consonant with the usual account of her life.

Yakumin Ki Medonad (Bukharian Jewish version of the traditional Passover song "Echad Mi Yodea") This is a rendition of the classic Passover song, Echad Mi Yodea / אֶחָד מִי יוֹדֵעַ (translation: Who Knows One?), sung in the traditional Central Asian musical genre (Shashmaqom) and Tajik-Persian dialect (Bukhori) of the Bukharian Jews. The lyrics are in three orthographies: 1) the modified Hebrew script used by Bukharian Jews to write their dialect of Persian, 2) the Cyrillic Tajik script that became prominent from the late 1930s onwards, 3) the modified Arabic script most commonly used to write the Persian language. I have also included the English translation of the song. Mursi, Ethiopia; part 1 The Mursi The Mursi are a Nilotic pastoralist ethnic group that inhabits southwestern Ethiopia. They principally reside in the Debub Omo Zone of the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and People's Region, close to the border with South Sudan. Mursi Woman with a lip plate Surrounded by mountains between the Omo River and its tributary the Mago, the home of the Mursi is one of the most isolated regions of the country. Their neighbors include the Aari, the Banna, the Bodi, the Kara, the Kwegu, the Me'en, the Nyangatom and the Suri. They are grouped together with the Me'en and Suri by the Ethiopian government under the name Surma. The Mursi speak the Mursi language as a mother tongue. It is classified as Surmic, which is a branch of the Nilo-Saharan language family. Two orthographies for the Mursi language exist, one Amharic-based and the other Latin-based. The former was developed by members of the missionary organization Serving in Mission, who have worked amongst the Mursi at Maki since 1987. The Latin-based orthography was developed by Moges Yigezu of Addis Ababa University. The religion of the Mursi people is classified as Animism, although about 15% are Christians. The Mursi women are famous for wearing plates in their lower lips. These lip discs are made of clay. Girls are pierced at the age of 15 or 16. Zeph Camtasia Desktop 2 Me modeling a Pal's tea to be used as a simple piece of scenery. Took way longer than it should have, but I didn't plan it out much more than simple orthographies beforehand. I just reinstalled Camtasia before making this and wanted to experiment a bit with the capture rate. This video was set to record at 3 frames per second then run ten times faster than normal. It's a bit too stop-motion for my liking.

Read and Learn Arabic Alphabet it was said: Languages written with the Arabic alphabet The Arabic script has been adopted for use in a wide variety of languages besides Arabic, including Persian, Kurdish, Malay, and Urdu, which are not Semitic. Such adaptations may feature altered or new characters to represent phonemes that do not appear in Arabic phonology. For example, the Arabic language lacks a voiceless bilabial plosive (the [p] sound), so many languages add their own letter to represent [p] in the script, though the specific letter used varies from language to language. These modifications tend to fall into groups: all the Indian and Turkic languages written in Arabic script tend to use the Persian modified letters, whereas Indonesian languages tend to imitate those of Jawi. The modified version of the Arabic script originally devised for use with Persian is known as the Perso-Arabic script by scholars. In the case of Kurdish, vowels are mandatory, making the script an abugida rather than an abjad as it is for most languages. Kashmiri and Uyghur, also, write all vowels. To a certain degree the style and usage tends to follow those of the Maghreb (for instance the position of the dots in the letters fāʾ and qāf). Additional diacritics have come into use to facilitate writing of sounds not represented in the Arabic language.
