- Microbiology Dilution series demonstration Demonstration video showing how to perform a serial dilution on a liquid food sample (in this case raw unpasteurised milk). The raw milk sample is diluted down to 1/1000 in a sterile diluent (Ringers solution). 1ml samples of each dilution are then used to prepare 2 sets of pour plates. A 0.1ml sample from the 1/10 and the 1/100 dilutions is used to generate spread plates. For this method you require the following: Sterile 1ml pipettes A pipette pump Sterile agar plates (for pour plates) Poured agar plates (for spread plates) A spreader (glass or metal) A dish of lab ethanol Bunsen burner Glass Universal tubes with 9 ml of sterile diluent Molten agar medium (20ml plate count agar per Universal tube - kept at 48C until ready to pour)

- Joseph Moshe (MOSSAD Microbiologist) Swine flu vaccine 1 Part 1 Today, the MSM are not talking about this case any more. Yesterday, they wanted us to believe that Joseph Moshe was a nutcase and a terrorist, arrested for threatening to bomb the White House. Interesting detail about his arrest (the Westwood standoff) was that he seemed to be immune to the 5 cans of tear gas and 5 gallons of law-enforcement grade pepper spray they pumped into his face. He very calmly remained in his car, as the video footage of his arrest shows. Professor Moshe had called into a live radio show by Dr. A. True Ott, (explanation of Joseph Moshes call at 06:00) broadcast on Republic Broadcasting claiming to be a microbiologist who wanted to supply evidence to a States Attorney regarding tainted H1N1 Swine flu vaccines being produced by Baxter BioPharma Solutions. He said that Baxters Ukrainian lab was in fact producing a bioweapon disguised as a vaccine. He claimed that the vaccine contained an adjuvant (additive) designed to weaken the immune system, and replicated RNA from the virus responsible for the 1918 pandemic Spanish flu, causing global sickness and mass death. Joseph Moshe was soon after his arrest sent or let go to Israel. Nothing has been heard from him since. The Secret Service was not the agency involved in the surveillance of Moshe at his home in California. This was done by the FBI, who had orders to detain or arrest him. Mounted on top of a large black vehicle used in his arrest was a microwave weapon that possibly damaged the ...

- Introduction to Microbiology Culture Techniques Nicole Gentile, PhD Candidate, provides an overview of basic microbiology and the concepts involved, including the bacterial growth curve and classifying organisms based on morphologies. This lecture describes blood, urine and skin/soft tissue cultures, focusing on the types of media, sample collection processes, culture procedures, as well as speciation and susceptibility testing. Basic staining procedures, such as the simple stain, gram stain, spore stain, negative stain, and acid fast stain are briefly discussed. Included in the staining procedure descriptions are explanations of the organisms that the stains identify. In addition to staining procedures, biochemical tests used for differentiating bacteria are covered. Concluding the lecture are some facts about fungi and viruses, focusing on the current 2009 novel H1N1 influenza pandemic.

- Another Dead Microbiologist - The Coming Plague Master list of Dead Scientists and microbiologists ABC News September 22, 2009 September 21, 2009 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- A University of Chicago researcher died after being exposed to a strain of bacteria that causes plague. And Malcolm Casadaban's family wants answers. The Chicago Department of Public Health says there's no sign anyone else was exposed to the bacteria. The tragic irony is that Professor Casadaban had been trying to develop a vaccine so that thousands of people around the world wouldn't die a painful, ugly death from a bacterial infection related to the plague. But it was that bacterium that appears to have killed him "We really thought he was so strong, we didn't see this coming at all," said Leigh Casadaban, daughter. Not only did they not see it coming, but sisters Leigh and Brooke Casadaban say their father never knew what killed him. "It was just so much of a shock, even the time he was in the ER, from the moment he got accepted to the time he passed away. We had no idea, we didn't even get to say goodbye to him," said Brooke Casadaban. Malcom Casadaban was a professor of molecular genetics at the University of Chicago for 30 years. For the past eight years, his daughters say, he'd been working with a strain of bacteria called yersinia pestis, trying to develop a stronger vaccine for the plague, once the world's worst health scourge. The weakened strain he was using, however, isn't supposed to make healthy people sick. And that is the big ...
