  • Arthroscopy of a (nearly healthy) knee (r./27yrs) It's my knee, I'm neither a native speaker nor a medical expert. Painful and slightly unstable knee, unable to walk. Manual tests suggested healthy ligaments but a damaged inner meniscus. MRI suggested a torn inner meniscus and minor cartilage damage in the midst of the patella. Left inner ligament showed signs of previous stress (thick and scarred). --- Result of athroscopy: Arthroscopy confirmed neglegible cartilage damage to the patella. Menisci and cartilage intact and smooth. Ligaments intact. Further post-operative-research revealed a heavily inflammated inner ligament. Injecting an ***gesic into the inflammated area allowed painless walking. Further treatment with cortisone and manual therapy.
