  • Melanistic Male Red Ear Slider vs 5 Feeder fish A video filmed by me featuring a Melanistic Male Red Ear Slider that i rescued from the wild, he was in really bad condition then. Now after 6 months, his condition has improved but his shell is still to small for the size of its body, and the shell is also too flat, suggesting a lack of protein. I fed it 5 Feeder Fish and he managed to kill them in short time, the last one however survived abit longer, when i turned off my video camera, it was eaten the next second. Regarding the tank size, not to worry, this is just the feeder tank, the actual tank it lives in is extremely big. The reason for the feeder tank is that i don't want the water of its actual tank to be dirty. Enjoy it! Ratings and comments are greatly welcomed. • Rare Melanistic Buck or Antlered Doe Extremely rare view. This may be the first video view of a big buck deer mounting a second large buck. It is even rarer because one is a melanistic deer. The mounted whitetail might also be an extremely rare antlered doe. Either way, this is an incredibly rare event. Although most piebald deer have more white, this one is a melanistic or dark one. The black is on its back and shoulders. A good view of its large black spot can be seen at the beginning of the video and its appearance can be compared to that of a normally colored deer. Also another melanistic buck was sighted immediately before these came into view as shown: Both bucks are full grown. Each has had an antler drop off (unicorn) deer. This was taken near the end of February, when bucks begain to lose their antlers. They don't always lose both antlers at once. Afterwards the deer easily clear a 5-foot fence (fence is shown at end). They then simply disappear into the trees-blending in is a way whitetails conceal themselves. And then can be seen walking toward a field. It was very cold and after an ice storm. They had been bedding down and eating hedge (osage orange) balls. Melanistic or black whitetails are very, very rare, and much rarer than either white piebald or albino deer, which are also extremely rare. They are the rarest of all. A person can recognize a melanistic deer because they produce too much of the pigment known as melanin and this makes them much darker than a typical whitetail ...

  • ATLAS OF CREATION: Industrial Melanism 80 In 1986 Douglas Futuyma published a book, The Biology of Evolution, which is accepted as one of the sources explaining the theory of evolution by natural selection in the most explicit way. The most famous of his examples on this subject is about the colour of the moth population, which appeared to darken during the Industrial Revolution in England. It is possible to find the story of the Industrial Melanism in almost all evolutionist biology books, not just in Futuyma's book. The story is based on a series of experiments conducted by the British physicist and biologist Bernard Kettlewell in the 1950s, and can be summarised as follows: According to the account, around the onset of the Industrial Revolution in England, the colour of the tree barks around Manchester was quite light. Because of this, dark-coloured (melanic) moths resting on those trees could easily be noticed by the birds that fed on them and therefore they had very little chance of survival. Fifty years later, in woodlands where industrial pollution has killed the lichens, the barks of the trees had darkened, and now the light-colored moths became the most hunted, since they were the most easily noticed. As a result, the proportion of light-coloured moths to dark-coloured moths decreased. Evolutionists believe this to be a great piece of evidence for their theory. They take refuge and solace in window-dressing, showing how light-coloured moths "evolved" into dark-coloured ones. However, even if we assume ...
  • Maned Lioness Antlered Doe Tigon White Piebald Melanistic Rare Unique Video shows several strange rare animals: A female lion with a mane, a possible female whitetail deer with antlers, a melanistic whitetail with one antler, piebald whitetails, and white lions. Also shows a tigon a cross between a lion and a tiger and two tame lions that the person who raised them can go into a cage with. All of these animals are very rare. **** White Lion The total number of white lions is unknown but the most recent count, in 2004, showed that only 30 were alive. White lions are Endangered. The one shown is one of Siegfried and Roys White Lions of Timbavati. Of only 30 white lions in the world, around seven are found in Ohio and this one is at the Cincinnati Zoo. **** Melanistic (dark) and piebald (light) deer are very rare. The mating of wild whitetails is almost never seen and filmed even more rarely. The video shows whitetail mating. Also shown is a totally unique mating between two antlered deer, it is unknown whether one of these whitetails is an antlered female, which is very rare. In addition, one of these deer is also partially melanistic, a much rarer occurrence than of a white deer. In one the doe had multiple partners. Although most piebald deer have more white, this one is a melanistic or dark one. The black is on its back and shoulders. A good view of its large black spot can be seen at the beginning of the video and its appearance can be compared to that of a normally colored deer. • AWESOME RAREST OF ALL, MELANISTIC BUCK MATING WHITETAIL Video shows several very rare and unique events. First it shows a very rare melanistic whitetail. These black or melanistic deer are much rarer than white or piebald deer. This deer then disappeared, but another melanistic deer (having a black patch on its back) came into view. It also shows mating deer and in another unique event a buck deer appears to mount another buck. However, because some female deer can have antlers, this deer might also be a very rare antlered doe. Both are unicorn deer, with one antler. Either way it is shows extremely unique activity -a 1 in a billion view. It shows 1 or 2 melanistic deer, mounting behavior, a melanistic deer in mounting behavior, and a buck mounting either a melanistic buck or a melanistic antlered doe. Melanistic or black whitetails are very, very rare, and much rarer than either white piebald or albino deer, which are also extremely rare. They are the rarest of all. A person can recognize a melanistic deer because they produce too much of the pigment known as melanin and this makes them much darker than a typical whitetail. Some are even black. Of the millions of deer taken each year only a very few with melanism have been reported. Most people don't know they even exist because of their extreme rarity. A melonistic buck is a true trophy. Some melanistic whitetails are very dark and some are even pure black. This one, as can be seen when he turns his head, has a brown face. He is not pure black. At the end is another buck ...

Melanistic deer are generally found south of here, below and east of Austin. This one looks like a semi-melanistic deer. Semi-melanistic deer have normal deer markings, but also have a darker upside. The young one on the left, is directly down wind from me. Even with my scent cover on, she kinda' smells me, but can't figure out what, or where, the funny smell is coming from.
