  • Francine Blake - Crop Circles and Megalithic Symbolism - Megalithomania 2010 - Filmed at the Megalithomania Conference in Glastonbury on 8th May 2010 by Nautilus AV Productions. Description: Francine will share her latest findings on the connections between the modern crop circle phenomena and ancient rock carvings from the Neolithic era. She will explore the meaning conveyed by the sacred geometry, advanced mathematics and ancient symbology in crop circles and how these symbols are connected with the megalithic cultures of Wes***, Brittany and other parts of the world over five thousand years ago. Biog: Born in Montreal, Canada, Francine Blake majored in Classical Studies at college and studied Fine Art at l'Ecole des Beaux Arts de Montreal. She has always sought knowledge, and spent twenty years studying ancient wisdom in a school of self-development brought to the West in 1917 by George Ivanovitch Gurdjieff. Introduced to crop circles in 1987, Francine was immediately attracted to them, recognizing many of the symbols she had been studying. She joined the Centre for Crop Circle Studies (CCCS) in 1991, and in 1992 moved to Wiltshire with her family to be closer to the phenomenon. In 1995, she started the Wiltshire Crop Circle Study Group (WCCSG), where she was elected coordinator, a post she still occupies. She edits The Spiral, the monthly newsletter for the WCCSG, and designs and produces an annual Crop Circle Calendar. She lectures extensively and has given many interviews on radio and television. Timeless sounds and renewing tracks are what he captured on his second artist album 'Never Fade Away'. The 12-headed manifest of John's diverse sound, ranging from clean cut tech-trance to the silent surroundings of chill-out, received a more than warm welcome by the trance scene, and beyond. Those interpretations have now been collected on the 'Never Fade Away Remixes' bundle. Remixes by Heatbeat, Matt Hardwick, Thomas Bronzwaer, Jon O'Bir, Marcus Schössow and more! Tracklist: 1. It is situated 1013 m above sea level and covers an area within a 100-meter radius. It is believed that represents an astronomical observatory and a ceremonial place. • Carnac & Morbihan: Megaliths & Sacred Sites Brittany in the far NW corner of France is a rugged promontory facing the Atlantic ocean. The Morbihan area is famous for the megalithic stone rows at Carnac and for the great menhir at Locmariaquer. However there are many more extravagant megalithic sites in the area - indeed the whole region must once have been an immense ceremonial and cultural centre. The immense tumulus at Gavrinis is one of the most well-preserved prehistoric structures in Europe, with many carved motifs on the huge interior orthostats. Most other tumuli are smaller and in varying degrees of completeness, but all are impressive. Here are to be found megalithic complexes without equal: tumuli, dolmens and covered alleys, as well as menhirs, stone rows, circles, quadrangles and ovals. The stone rows stretch for 5 kilometers EW from Erdeven to Carnac and on to La Trinité, in four sections - each with a "cromlech" (a stone circle or quadrangle) at it's eastern end. The saints are an important part of the Breton culture and may be encountered in many guises. • Stoney Littleton Megalithic Long Barrow-The Best I Have Seen James Dyer describes the Stoney Littleton long barrow as "the most notable chambered long-barrow in south-western England" - and I agree with him! It is simply superb. About 30m in length and 15m wide at the south-east end, it stands nearly 3m high. There is a horned entrance with a magical ammonite cast on the western door-jamb. This fossil must have been found and specially placed here as something of real significance. Was it seen as a stone serpent or perhaps such fossils gave rise to legends of dragons? The entrance leads to a gallery 16m long, but only 1m high. A torch is required to look into the three pairs of side chambers and an end chamber. Access is greatly improved as a new, but very narrow track has been made from Wellow which leads to a small car park. Then there is a style and a clearly marked path around two fields. The setting is breathtaking with the barrow being sited on a round topped hill surrounded by wide valleys and low hills in every direction. Top of my list now and its remoteness from the Avebury circus means that, for the present at least, there are no candles and other new age clutter to spoil it. Go there, but please leave it as you find it. It already has all the magic that it needs. Enough so as the folklore suggests, apparently Fairies come out to play there at night... & sorry there are no transitions in my video-i had problems :O) so i uploaded the best i could do under the circumstances...
