Ezra Lusk's Crash at Pontiac 2002 250cc Main After losing the lead to Yamaha's Tim Ferry, Chevy Trucks Kawasaki's Ezra Lusk lost his chance for a win at the Pontiac Supercross in 2002 with a crash near the end of the whoop section. MSU Names Lusk as Men's Basketball Head Coach Paul Lusk, associate head coach at Purdue University, has been named Missouri State University's 17th men's basketball head coach. The 40-year-old is a native of New Baden, Ill., and spent the last seven seasons as an assistant coach at Purdue. When Cuonzo Martin accepted the Missouri State job in 2008, Lusk was promoted to the Purdue associate head coach position under Matt Painter. In the summer of 2010, he was named by as one of the nation's top 25 high-major assistant coaches. He has helped guide Purdue to five consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances with a collective 129-45 ledger during that span. He first came to West Lafayette in 2004-05 as an assistant under then-coach Gene Keady and stayed on board at Purdue when Painter took the coaching reigns in 2005-06. A 1995 graduate of Southern Illinois, Lusk and his wife Melanie have a daughter, Madison, and a son, Jackson. The couple both earned their Masters of Science in Education from Missouri State in December 2000.

Freestyle motocross star Jeremy Lusk died early in the morning EST on Tuesday, Feb. 10 from head injuries he suffered at an event in Costa Rica on Saturday, Feb. 7. Lusk sustained the injuries when he under-rotated a Hart Attack backflip and slammed head-first to the dirt. Like the fighter he was, Jeremy — nicknamed Pitbull for his tenacious attitude and great strength — survived an initial surgery late in the evening on Saturday that was designed to stem brain swelling, even though his odds of living through the surgery were very long. But his condition — touch and go from the moment he went down — worsened late in the day on Monday. Some may remember that he crashed in almost identical fashion in the Freestyle semifinals at X Games '07: He under-rotated a Hart Attack backflip but somehow walked away from that scary slam. In March '08, while preparing for April's Moto X World Championships, Lusk said that he didn't throw the Hart Attack backflip for months after his X Games crash. "I was a little scared of it," he stated. Lusk enjoyed an incredibly successful 2008 season. He earned Freestyle gold at X Games '08 and added Best Trick silver when he landed the first double grab Hart Attack backflip; it was the first time he had even attempted the trick to dirt. The 23-year-old spa concierge from Compton, California, who had barely been seen prior to Thursday's (February 17) episode, stepped out in a big way during the final Hollywood Week show, flooring the judges and his fellow contestants with one of the most stunning, stirring auditions ever seen on the "Idol" stage. Lusk, dressed in a pair of blue jeans and an untucked tuxedo shirt, hit the stage and gave a wildly original take on Billie Holiday's "God Bless the Child" that had him flexing his range from deep lows to high highs, and scatting between the lyrics. His expressive face contoured around each of the words, as he clenched his eyes tightly and flexed his eyebrows to give emphasis to each of his lines. Jennifer Lopez looked puzzled by his unorthodox delivery at first, but it wasn't long before all three judges were screaming in amazement, with Steven Tyler leaning back in his seat and getting Randy Jackson's attention with a huge, "Woooooo-hoooooo!" Ezra Lusk's Crash in Qualifying at Seattle 1998 250cc Heat 1 (Previously uploaded on my Mat49324 channel) During the first qualifying heat from Seattle in 1998, Honda's Ezra Lusk just passed Kawasaki's Jeff Emig, the defending Supercross champion from 1997, before Emig tried to get him back in the whoops before the Finish before dropping the front wheel in one of the whoops and going over the bars. He ended up taking Kawasaki's Damon Huffman #15, and Mickael Pichon #16 with him. Lusk would go on to the semi, where he would barely win it over Huffman... and wind up finishing 2nd to Jeremy McGrath in the main after Emig took him out in the main. Take a look.

Fox 59 Interview with Daniel Lusk - 72 Magic Shows in 24 hours 72 Magic Shows in 24 Hours To Benefit Breast Cancer Awareness and Research On October 28th 2008, Daniel Lusk will have a stage outside of Steak and Shake on US 36 in Avon Indiana and will attempt to do 72 magic shows in 24 hours, all to benefit the fight against Breast Cancer. It will begin at 10am on October 28th and will finish at 10am October 29th. October 28th falls in Breast Cancer Awareness Month and International Magic Week. Magician Daniel Lusk will use the art of magic to raise money and awareness for this worthy cause. Daniel Lusk is a comedy magician who has performed for the NBA, WNBA, many corporations, churches, private parties, and daycares all across the Midwest. Where did the idea come from? "I wanted to do something different", states Lusk. "Well, I see many feats on TV that are based on endurance. Some even done by magicians," Lusk said. "I started wondering if it was possible to combine both endurance and magic. That's where the 72 shows in 24 hours were born." The idea is to do three 10 minute magic shows every hour, for 24 hours straight. The schedule is planned as 10 minutes on, 10 minutes off, 10 minutes on, 10 minutes off, etc. All shows will be held on a stage outside of Steak and Shake in Avon Indiana.
