  • lunt silver - lunt sterling With unique elegance in design, Lunt sterling silver has been part of the Lunt family heritage since it's inception in the early 1900s in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Lunt silver reigned in a slew of patterns over their hundred plus years with outstanding quality and craftsmanship, like their Embassy Scroll pattern silverware that can be found across the globe in all of the US embassies and consulates. The Bel Chateau collection from 1983 has been one of the most highly sought after patterns in recent years because of the fluidity of it's design and simple lunt eloquence. Can you picture your dinner table set and ready for the party with the graceful Lunt sterling silver Lace Point pattern from 1965 or the Regency Shell Gold pattern to accentuate your home decor? Do you cherish the luster and presentation of a silverware set you can appreciate even when it's not a holiday? Wouldn't a friend or family member enjoy lunt flatware creations as an anniversary or holiday gift? Lunt and Bowlen Company took over AF Towle Co. in 1902, which had original sterling patterns dating back to 1883 that became a part of Lunt sterling flatware. In 1935, they changed their name to Lunt Silversmiths. Lunt silver flatware is known for it's history, quality and timeless unique designs. Today, this company can provide the gift that lasts a life time, like the Lunt baby cup or Lunt frames to display your favorite picture. • England TV: Brown and Lunt to stay Brown and Lunt to stay with England Huddersfield Giants players Kevin Brown and Shaun Lunt have been promoted to full members of the England squad that is preparing for Saturday's Gillette Fusion International against France at Leigh Sports Village. Brown and Lunt were drafted into the squad on Sunday evening, initially as cover for three injured members of England coach Steve McNamara's original 19-man squad and today learned that they are being considered for selection for the Test against France. The move follows the news that Danny McGuire and Kyle Eastmond will not be considered for selection. McGuire, the Leeds Rhinos stand-off, has a knee injury, while St Helens scrum-half Eastmond has not recovered from the ankle ligament strain he suffered in the Carnegie Challenge Cup tie against Barrow Raiders two weeks ago. Both players will stay with the England squad throughout this week and will return to their clubs on Monday. The third player whose fitness had been in doubt, Leeds Rhinos captain Kevin Sinfield, has fully recovered from the knee injury he sustained in the Engage Super League champions' victory over Wakefield Trinity Wildcats last Saturday. Speaking to England TV, Steve McNamara said: "It's unfortunate for Danny and Kyle that they have injuries which will keep them out for no more than a week but their misfortune is good fortune for two other players who I'm looking forward to working with. "I'm very disappointed for both Danny and Kyle but we move on ...

We worked hard to get the City of Urbana to place financial information on the internet. Urbana Mayor Laurel Lunt Prussing also worked hard to block this effort. Finally we were successful after several setbacks. The Resolution passed the city council on 12 December 08. We were about 10 months working on this project. New challenges lie ahead. • LS60THa Lunt Solar Scope - playing around First time setting up my new solar telescope and trying some camera setting and filter tuning. The Scope is a Lunt LS 60 THa - Solar Telescope. Equiped with a tunable Hydrogen Alpha narrowband filter and a second H-Alpha filter as a double stack which i audibly screw on in the beginning of the video. Both filters can be tuned to preference and reveal prominences, flares, spikes and filaments on the edge of the limb of the sun or sunspots, granulation and prominences etc on the disc... It's very amazing. Look up for more on those amazing instruments. The quality of this video is not great. You see a lot more with the bare eye than the camera can. Next time i will use the computerized telescope mount and take high quality picture so i can make a nice timelapse... that should look a lot better and more interesting than this. I had fun though.
  • Helen Hayes, Alfred Lunt, Lynn Fontanne, and Katharine Hepburn Clips from "Stage Door Can***" Released June 24th 1943 "Stage Door Can***" was made in the 1943 and all of the profits of the film went towards the War Effort. The "Stage Door Can***" was a real place during WWII where Broadway actors and actresses worked on their off hours in order to help the troops. They would serve, cook, host, sign autographs, and dance with the servicemen. Sorry about the quality, but since this film is in the public domain, it's hard to find a good copy. These are my favorite actors in the film. I am a theatre buff and I KNOW that if i was living during this time I would have been a HUGE fan of these performers. I could also post a clip of Katherine Cornell, but i feel like no one knows who she is. If anyone wants me to post her scene, just let me know and i will. PS Helen Hayes lived in Nyack, NY and my mom knew her because that's where she grew up. She has some great stories of her.
