  • DEATH BY DOCTORING : VITAMIN B17 / THE APRICOT KERNEL THE CURE FOR CANCER FACTS & LIES 1 CANCER: THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY Twenty-first century medicine boasts a number of treatments that are actually very dangerous to human health, none more so than for cancer. May this short report reach the many thousands of people currently undergoing conventional cancer treatment. May it also reach the many thousands of doctors, physicians, nurses and carers who every day are innocently inflicting serious harm in the name of conventional cancer care. Let the countdown begin. Let there soon be an end ath by Doctoring. Every year in the United Kingdom, 200000 people are diagnosed with cancer and 152500 people die.1 In the United States, the annual death rate for this disease is approximately 547000.2 These deaths are recorded as cancer deaths, but how many of these deaths are really attributable to the disease itself? How many deaths should in fact be recorded as "death by doctoring"? When we consider that conventional treatment consists almost entirely of radiation, chemotherapy and the long-term application of toxic pharmaceuticals— treatments which are all well known for their life-threatening side-effects— then the question becomes all the more legitimate. On chemotherapy, for instance, note the following: "Most cancer patients in this country die of chemotherapy. Chemotherapy does not eliminate breast, colon, or lung cancers. This fact has been documented for over a decade, yet doctors still use chemotherapy for these tumours." (Allen Levin, MD, UCSF, T he ...

  • On Sequence Kernels for SVM classification of sets of... Google Tech Talks April 10, 2007 ABSTRACT Support Vector Machines (SVMs) have become one of the most popular tools for discriminative classification of static data. However, research in SVM classification of dynamic (continuous) data has gained in interest only recently. In this presentation, I first give an overview of existing sequence kernels for classification of sets of vectors. I then present a new family of sequence kernels that generalizes the Generalized Linear Discriminant Sequence (GLDS) kernel. As opposed to GLDS, the new sequence kernels allow implicit normalized expansions in a high/infinite-dimensional feature space (FS). Moreover, they induce a Mahalanobis distance in the FS which...

After looking for an alternative to Bitkeeper, Linus came up with his own solution and wrote that new tool he called Git. Exactly 5 years ago, Linus made the the very first commit into the official Linux kernel Git tree. Therefore we made a little movie to visualize the source code development of Linux over the past 5 years. The video was made with Gource, a source code visualization tool. Yes, there are some bugs in the video, but we found the overall idea way too cool to not share the result with you. You can find the video online in different formats. 1080p/720p/360p We hope you enjoy the video and celebrate 5 years of Linux kernel development in Git with us. Thanks. • zdzihu custom kernel WARNING: THIS IS ALPHA, AND LIKELY WILL NOT BE SUPPORTED. "The bootloader has been bypassed using the kexec/miniloader method We are able to boot custom kernels now! I'll keep it short as I'm quite busy today... I haven't had much luck with disabling MPU nor resetting a MCPU - it failed no matter what I did. Same thing with porting shutdown procedures into miniloader. But when I found out that the custom kernel doesn't reboot on baseband 52, I switched to the .504 sources and restarted the work. Using the debugfs tips by Goroh, I realised some stuff I'd rather to keep in between the developers here... And then *poof* - the green USB led appeared and I knew I was getting there! Anyway... this is the first release of the fully working custom kernel (flashable via xRecovery). I haven't had much time to work on it so it's kind of proof-of-concept. • Greg Kroah Hartman on the Linux Kernel Google Tech Talks June, 5 2008 ABSTRACT The Linux Kernel, who is developing it, how they are doing it, and why you should care. This talk describes the rate of development for the Linux kernel, and how the development model is set up to handle such a large and diverse developer population and huge rate of change. It will detail who is doing the work, and what companies, if any, are sponsering it. Finally, it will go into why companies like Google, and any other that uses or depends on Linux, should care about this development. Lots of numbers and pretty graphs will be shown to keep the audience awake. Speaker: Greg Kroah Hartman Greg Kroah-Hartman is a Linux kernel maintainer for the USB, driver core, sysfs, and debugfs portions of the kernel as well as being one half of the -stable kernel release team. He currently works for Novell as a Fellow doing various kernel related things and has written a few books from O'Reilly about Linux development in the past.

  • The Lively Kernel Google Tech Talks January, 24 2008 ABSTRACT The Sun Labs Lively Kernel is a new approach to web programming. It provides a complete platform for web applications, including dynamic graphics, network access, and development tools, and requires nothing more than available web browsers. We call the system lively for three reasons: It comes live off a web page. There is no installation. The entire system is written in JavaScript, and it becomes active as soon as the page is loaded by a browser. It can change itself and create new content. The Lively Kernel includes a basic graphics editor that allows it to alter and create new graphical content, and also a simple IDE that allows it to alter and create new applications. It comes with a basic library of graphical and computational components, and these, as well as the kernel, can be altered and extended on the fly. It can save new artifacts, even clone itself, onto new web pages. The kernel includes WebDav support for browsing and extending remote file systems, and thus has the ability to save its objects and "worlds" (applications) as new active web pages. The Lively Kernel uses only existing web standards. The implementation and user language is JavaScript, known by millions and supported in every browser. The graphics APIs are built upon SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics), also available in major browsers. The network protocols used are asynchronous HTTP and WebDav. The Lively Kernel is being made available as Open ...
  • Betty's Fresh Fried Corn Recipe (Whole Kernel) In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make fresh fried corn (whole kernel). This delicious vegetable is prepared from fresh shucked corn, sliced from the cob, delicately cooked, and served with butter! Delish!!! Ingredients: 6 ears of fresh corn, shucked, washed, trimmed, with silks removed 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon sugar 1/4 cup water In a large bowl, use a sharp knife to slice a single layer of corn off the cob, all around the cob. Cut the corn in such a way as to get as close as possible to the cob, without including any part of the cob. Discard the cobs. Place the prepared corn in a skillet that has 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon sugar, and stir. Place over low heat, and cook the corn, stirring occasionally for about 8 minutes, or until the color turns a little darker. Add water, if needed, for a good consistency. I added 1/4 cup water. When the corn is done, pour it into a serving bowl, and serve immediately. It is sweet and delicious! Pass the butter!
