Earth's Tiniest Living Organisms: Somatids (Identify: Friend or Foe?) . 40 years ago, a microscope was invented in Canada through which you can see the smallest living organism on earth. They are called Mycoplasma, endobionts, pro*** and somatids. She had ECCE with a one piece PMMA lens done one year ago and chronic pain, tenderness superiorly, recurrent iritis and 4+ diopters of against the rule astigmatism. She has one haptic in the bag and the other could be seen on gonioscopy to be wedge into the ciliary body where she had tenderness. She is s/p YAG laser. In this case the IOL haptic is rotated out of the bag and the lens repositioned in the sulcus combined with LRI's to reduce her astigmatism. Her iritis and pain resolved completely and she was left with only 1 diopter of astigmatism. No vitrectomy was necessary here.

I repaired the airframe and used new covering, new hardware, new hinges, a new fuel system and tank, new Robart landing gear, new Stan's Fiber Tech cowl, new Lexan windows and a new Spektrum DX7 radio to make it better than new. The OS Gemini 1.20 twin still runs perfectly. It should be good for another 20 years.

She then saw another eye doctor who treated a mild uveitis. VA was 20/25, and her pupil had about a 270 degree synechia. This video shows the synechia being broken with 2.5% phenylephrine.
