  • Modern Education is in the Stone Age (lecture by Paul) education=guesswork in the 21st cen. - still in stone age. school's4fools. rU1? Come on, now. Do you really think institutions of learning are really only able to produce a minority of well-educated intelligencia! That shows the scope of the lethargy the traditionalists have sunk into. The first axiom to propose is that the average human mind is brilliant and capable of extreme excellence. The stimulus of knowledge, along with an adequate diet of protein, begins with the average human as an infant. So I suppose one might observe that the classroom out of the stone age begins at the home. In all fairness, I really don't mean to insult the stone age by comparing the failure of the modern education system with them, but it was the best term I could come up with. The brain is quickly whittled down in early childhood by internal mechanisms that remove whatever isn't being used, or stimulated, as a survival tactic. So the child emerges from infancy with substantially less brains than it was born with. The industrial age brought with it a need for most parents to place baby's affairs on the back burner, assuming, and being assured by all the learned higher educational institutional fodder, that baby's growth will happen naturally if the parents simply saw to the physical well being of the child. So they end up with a mundane toddler instead of a brilliant one. You might protest that society doesn't need a majority of brilliant minds. A minority of geniuses is what most would ...

  • Legal Reform in Northeast Asia: Institutional Change and Constitutionalism, Part 2 Legal Reform in Northeast Asia: Institutional Change and Constitutionalism in Comparative Perspective, by Tom Ginsburg, Professor of Law, University of Chicago Professor Ginsburg addresses significant shifts in legal institutions in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Two decades ago, legal systems in the three countries were very similar, and featured a combination of a small private bar, high quality but politically constrained judges, and an insulated administrative state. Since roughly 1990, these three core features have undergone significant transformations. Dr. Ginsburg explores competing explanations for these changes, which include major developments in administrative law, an increase in the size of the private bar, and a growing judicialization of politics. Although the various institutional changes have been largely orthogonal to constitutional change, they are likely to have constitutional implications in the future.

  • The Rest of My Why - The Box We Live In NOTE: On the morning of April 20/09, this video was subject to a mass votebot attack in which a person or persons hacked into the YouTube software and without leaving any apparent views on my channel, gave an average of 35-42 negative ratings (one star ratings) within a matter of a few hours. A number of other channels were hit by them as well. I believe that this was the work of several YouTube accounts who worked to promote something called . They would ask for you to pay for their help in getting ratings, and apparently if you dont go along with that they sabotage it instead of promoting it with falsely-earned ratings. *I would appreciate it if youd give this video a five-star rating if you like it, to counteract this unfair attack. Peace.* This is the Rest of My Why; why I talk about truth. Why I bother. Nothing could be more important than listening to yourself. Your truth is why you are here, and if you are not one with that truth and are not expressing that truth then you are not helping others in this world. To save others you must first save yourself. Looking yourself in the face. Listen. Accept. Wake up. Good luck. But you are not alone! My UFO Experience: The Institutionalism of Children:

  • Finest Graduation Speech Ever Valedictorian Speaks Out Against Indoctrination Schooling Here I stand There is a story of a young, but earnest Zen student who approached his teacher, and asked the Master, "If I work very hard and diligently, how long will it take for me to find Zen? The Master thought about this, then replied, "Ten years . ." ?The student then said, "But what if I work very, very hard and really apply myself to learn fast — How long then?" Replied the Master, "Well, twenty years." "But, if I really, really work at it, how long then?" asked the student. "Thirty years," replied the Master. "But, I do not understand," said the disappointed student. "At each time that I say I will work harder, you say it will take me longer. Why do you say that?" ?Replied the Master, "When you have one eye on the goal, you only have one eye on the path." This is the dilemma I've faced within the American education system. We are so focused on a goal, whether it be passing a test, or graduating as first in the class. However, in this way, we do not really learn. We do whatever it takes to achieve our original objective. Some of you may be thinking, "Well, if you pass a test, or become valedictorian, didn't you learn something? Well, yes, you learned something, but not all that you could have. Perhaps, you only learned how to memorize names, places, and dates to later on forget in order to clear your mind for the next test. School is not all that it can be. Right now, it is a place for most people to determine that their goal is to get out as soon as possible. I am ...

Childlabour was simply bad, not empowering or necessary, and I never heard about hegemonic masculinuty features in modern western society since I didn't even thought about gender (chorus) Money was still useless and Tadjikistan did not exist. Belgium was foreign enough for me, English a big mysterie. Colonies meant sea adventures, the UN was just a noble project. I sure do learn a lot in college, but then why do I miss elementary school? Colonialism was innocent, I just read the adventurebooks and didn't write papers yet about the historical development of women dying in childbirth due to the consequenses of slavery. Belgium seemed so different, because I didn't know about regional identities, or the high degree of formal institutionalism of the EU compared to the "Asian Values" far away. When money was still useless and Tadjikistan did not exist (so is didn't had to fake their unemploymentrates for the European Bank of Research and Development to prove that it was really in transition after the collapse of the USSR) Belgium seemed far away to me, English was a mysterie, colonies meant sea adventures, the UN was just a noble ...
