Lady Jane Grey - Historical Controversy A short video regarding the Execution of Lady Jane Grey on 12th February 1554, and the historical controversy that has surrounded it. 'The Tower of London, a Historical Romance', a popular novel from 1840, fed a lot of the untruths surrounding Jane's imprisonment. The famous painting of the Execution of Lady Jane Grey, by Paul Delaroche, became a fascinating focal point for this vast interest in Lady Jane, but how accurate is his depiction? Despite the location and costuming being wildly inaccurate, Delaroche captures the essence of that event. The clips inserted are from the film 'Lady Jane' -- (another very inaccurate version of her story) however the execution was completed with some accuracy. Rediscover St. Croix | Christiansted National Historic Site (Full) Rediscover St. Croix is a half hour program that aims to explore the historic, natural, and scenic areas and elements of the island that residents and visitors, may know, or hear about, but have not had the opportunity to experience for themselves. In this episode, host Janeisha John takes a tour around historic Christiansted. She visits with the National Park Service and tours Fort Christiansvearn, the old Danish Scale House, and the Steeple Building. These sites are part of the National Parks System. There are six historic buildings in all on premises, each rich in history. The more popular of the sites, is Fort Christiansvearn, which was built in the 1700's by the Danes, as a water defense fort. Despite its purpose, the fort never fired a single cannon in its defense. Today, the fort is more famous for one of its former prisoners -- Rachel Faucette, the mother of Alexander Hamilton, one of the nation's founding fathers.

Airventure 2010 - Beyond This Historic Brown Gate Another ten day celebration was had again this year as my father and I traveled up to Oshkosh, Wisconsin to rekindle old friendships and make new ones at the one and only Airventure! Now, after spending quite a bit of time wrestling with my computer and the over 8 hours of footage I took, I am able to present my 2010 Airventure music video! For those who don't care much for the music, I will also be uploading the "10 Minutes of Airventure' series again in the coming weeks.
