Hey hey guys, Joslyn Davis here in the studio with a Harry Potter update on ClevverTV. Our team just got back from the Comic Con Convention in San Deigo, where new Harry news stirred things up quite a bit. Tom Felton was the only Harry Potter cast member present to show off some new footage from the upcoming Deathly Hallows and he even admitted that he hadsn't seen the clips himself yet. Most on-lookers were agreeance about the fact that the coolest part of the clip was the first peek at Bill Nighy as Rufus . He first appears on screen from the back, where he's being shot by a bunch of paparazzi. Other great moments in the sneak peek included harry and Hermione being taken into Malfoy Manor by Bellatrix Lestrange, with Hermione at knife-point. Then there's a quick look from the beginning of the movie where Voldemort is holding court at Malfoy Manor and Snape is telling to go on attack at the home of Harry 's aunt and uncle. We're hoping that this clip will very soon be available for all of you to see, and when it is, we'll let you know where you can see it right here on ClevverTV. And already tickets are pre-selling like crazy... The true HP fan will see Deathly Hallows Part One asap -- and regardless of the review -- but I bet that you're still dying to hear any little morsel of goodness (or badness) about flick from an early-on viewer. Am I right? I thought so! Are you ready?? Well, it looks like a pretty positive outlook thusfar!! We hear that the character development and realistic emotion of the main trio is right on and you really get to see the actors come into their own as professionals. It's also being reported that there are some animated scenes in THIS installment that totally trump all previous Harry Potter renditions. Plus, the movie got a very good review overall on RottenTomatoes.com -- earning 81-percent freshness on the tomato-meter with 94-percent of users WANTING to see the film. Still a big Q on the minds of fans is surrounding the decision to split the book into two separate productions. All Hallows Steve This film was made after a long period of "creative drought" where I was simply unable to write a script that works, or find the energy, enthusiasm or motivation to be creative like I used to. All Hallows Steve marks the end of this drought, I've got my creative mojo back and I'm enjoying the creative process again. All Hallows Steve once again finds us in the company of Steve and Dave as they navigate their way through finding a new place to live after their old apartment was vaporized by a suicide bomber ninja. (in "sai the magic word") It also happens to be what is probably Steve's favorite holiday, Halloween. This film was made over the course of four days, the first day was all about getting the script to work as I blew the thick layers of dust off the chair on my shoulder where the muse sits. Day two I dug out the boxes in which my lego collection had laid dormant and happily spilled them on the floor, and got to work building the all new sets in which Steve and Dave find themselves in. Sitting on the floor bent over a pile of lego all day took it's toll on my chronic back problem, but all artists must suffer for their art. I also recorded all the dialogue and some sound effects, and dug far into the night creating the audio timeline paving the way for the animation Day three was the animation. I tried a few new tricks, with varying success. It was a nine hour animation cyclone and being bent over the set for nine hours made my already aching back scream for mercy ...
