Samovar For Sale In Silver Plate www.silver2 This is a Super Large & Heavy Silver Plated Samovar. It is of a circular shape and has an applied embossed flower, leaf and scroll border around the circular shoulders. It has two chunky large lined, shell and leaf upturned loop handles. It has a gadrooned pattern around the top rim where the pull off domed lid sits and also around the pedestal leg. There are no identifying marks on it at all so I cannot confirm its age or origin Overall it is good condition, but it does have a couple of little dents in one of the corners of the base edge and a few very minor dings in the body. There is some very minor plate loss around the edge of the lid and also a very very small area in the shoulder There is evidence of a repair to one of the handles which can be seen inside where it has been soldered.
