  • Jon on Just Dance.MOV I got this video at a Christian winter camp this February. Jon Gilsdorf, my youth pastor and good friend, is the main subject as he takes the Wii remote and follows the mostions as accurately as he could on the song "A-Punk" by Vampire WeekEnd. He is not the most accostomed to Just Dance 2, nor any Wii games of the sort, but he does his best with the most facetiousness he could muster. It is one of the most hilarious episodes that occured during my time there. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

  • The Tombstones - Mojo Power Here is a music video featuring The Tombstones song, Mojo Power from the band's 1986 Grave Matter EP (recorded live at the 688 Club). History of the Band The Tombstones emerged in 1985 during the heyday of the punk rock scene in Atlanta, Georgia. They are often remembered as the unofficial "house band" at Atlanta's now-famous (and now defunct) Metroplex nightclub during the club's latter years. The Tombstones shared the stage with such notable bands as The Circle Jerks, The Lords of the New Church, Divine Horsemen, DRI, and Bad Brains, as well as a slew of great local talent. The Tombstones sought to meld a punk attitude to American roots music and the result was a rough and rowdy punk-blues. The band's fascination with black magic, voodoo, graveyards, ghost stories, and the dark side of southern culture is quite evident in their songs. The music of The Tombstones was often jokingly described by the band members as "psychedelic death country swamp rock blues." But in reality, that bit of facetiousness is actually very close to the mark: The sound was heavily influenced by the band members' southern roots and fueled by the darker elements found in blues, country and southern rock - such as Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Johnny Cash, and Creedence Clearwater Revival - while showing a definite influence of such punk outfits as X, The Gun Club, and The Cramps. The original Tombstones recorded a six song EP titled Grave Matter. One track from that release titled (I Ain't Got) Nobody ...
  • Eluveitie - Sacrapos (At First Glance) Evocation I - The Arcane Dominion (2009) track 1 In a contented manner she sits by the bonfire Sanctimoniously thanking you for the hospitality Her treacherous intentions as cold as the occasional gusts of wind kissing your back You mistake the twinkle in her eyes for pure warm-heartedness, and have no premonition of their effect on you. A bleak smile flickering on her lips, she beholds you with algid satisfaction, as in her sinister mind, you become her prey, her treasure, a sacrifice on the alter of her own lust. Cursed and sacred, this arcane exercise, disembodied fiend waving through her gaze. Being a virtuoso of deceit and facetiousness, she leaves you with no chance of escape From what is happening in your mind. She hasn't come to crush your bones, nor tear your flesh. She has come to steal your sanity with just one glance.

  • "Black Justice" for OJ Simpson When a beautiful white divorcee and her handsome, wealthy, young white paramour are likely murdered by her black celebrity ex-husband, it's an actual injustice that must absolutely be punished. ...But when a black motorist is brutally beaten, nearly to death, by a clutch of white policemen in an event that is entirely caught on video and openly shown to the world, it's a trifle disturbing to watch, but not injustice in the slightest, because they are policemen, of course... and no real punishment is ever warranted in such instances. All painful facetiousness aside, right should be right and wrong should be wrong, no matter what... and no extraneous factors should alter that paradigm, in the interests of real justice. However, it seems that in America, when justice does prevail, different demographics are held to different standards. Can you guess which standard OJ Simpson has been held to?
  • Tim McMullen's Booth-bluffing Blues a true story about a strange encounter at a local restaurant... Booth-Bluffing Blues Sitting in the booth with my wife and my brother, Staring at the menu, not talking to each other; The waitress smiled with her mouth, but her eyes were tired. "Sure gets lonely when the place gets crowded..." I slipped her a wink, then somebody shouted, "Hey, how are ya'? How ya' been? Long time no see!" I didn't recognize him, but he seemed to know me. In the midst of my confusion, I pretended to remember All the things that kept him grinning All about the good old days: "Oh, really? Just vaguely... My, what a surprise!" He was buying the length of my lies— Sold on the strength of my lies. The girl came back, and we gave her the order, "Burger and fries? A buck and a quarter." All the time the guy in the back kept saying, "Hey, do you remember old what's-'er-name? You know, the chick with the crazy frame? No? Well, she said if I see you to tell you, 'Hi!'" I didn't recognize her, but I let it slide by. In the midst of my confusion, I pretended to remember All the things that kept him grinning All about the good old days: "Oh, really? Just vaguely... My, what a surprise!" He was buying the length of my lies— Sold on the strength of my lies. Shaking his hand as we were departing, Friendly and full and feeling like farting, I was slapped on the back with an, "I hope to see you around." "I doubt it," I countered And moved toward the aisle. Feigning facetiousness I showed him a smile, "It was ...

To be read post-viewing for full comprehension) In an ***ytical sense, all elements of a retro environment can be interpreted as outdated. These elements lurk in the deepest consciousnesses of social media and can be found within the deepest subconscious of those exposed to only small flashes of these stimuli. In this example a given subject is suffering from the effects of discrete exposure to a aesthetically inferior primate whom possesses an infinite plethora of barrels and an extreme dislike of any and all who trespass upon the unfinished structure that he has adopted as his residence. In her specific case, episodes of delirium and extended cases of apathy can be observed. This is an unexpected reaction in the subjects case since she had been known to be normally withdrawn, inexpressive and all around cold. As this ***ysis will prove, the case of the subject, although esoteric and difficult to comprehend, is in fact amusing and a remedy for the monotony of AMVs in this current day and age. • Ogden Nash Peekaboo, I Almost See You Peekabo, I Almost See You by Ogden Nash Used by permission of Curtis Brown, Ltd. Copyright c 1938 All Rights Reserved. Middle-aged life is merry, and I love to lead it, But there comes a day when your eyes are all right but your arm isn't long enough to hold the telephone book where you can read it, And your friends get jocular, so you go to the oculist, And of all your friends he is the joculist, So over his facetiousness let us skim, Only noting that he has been waiting for you ever since you said Good evening to his grandfather clock under the impression that it was him, And you look at his chart and it says SHRDLU QWERTYOP, and you say Well, why SHRDNTLU QWERTYOP? and he says one set of glasses won't do. You need two. One for reading Erle Stanley Gardner's Perry Mason and Keats's "Endymion" with, And the other for walking around without saying Hello to strange wymion with. So you spend your time taking off your seeing glasses to put on your reading glasses, and then remembering that your reading glasses are upstairs or in the car, And then you can't find your seeing glasses again because without them on you can't see where they are. Enough of such mishaps, they would try the patience of an ox, I prefer to forget both pairs of glasses and pass my declining years saluting strange women and grandfather clocks.
  • Clark Trailer "Few Artists..." "There have been few artists who have changed our perception of reality, and even less who have changed the world. This story is about neither." Exodus FIlms presents "Clark" a gonzo auto-biographical surreal mock documentary reality show art film showing what surrounds the controversal and influential phallic sculptor and painter, William Clark. As the emotionally disturbed Clark juggles his creativity and work with his eccentricites, social awkwardess and substance abuse, we discover that his spiraling descent into madness just may be his secret to his uninhibited brilliance. Accompanied by his friend and art manager, James, Clark pushes the limits of the art world, and with James keen understanding of dollars and cents, Clark and his sculptoral portayals of male genitalia will sure to flip creative minds on their belly and dry *** them deep and hard. These 10 minute episodes will capture and force you to endure the truth of an artists' lifestyle and all the b***ity of reality a creative individual has to either endure or destroy to transcend a common boring and pointless existence that you, a non-talented person, probably have. Love him or hate him, Clark will definitely pull at your heart strings, and drum on your emotions... and ... auto-tune your sixth sense... to the chorus of "You're the Best Around" by Joe Esposito. • Lava Buster #16: .hack//ROOTS "The World = 1; Virtual Boy = 0" Link to the review: thelavabuster.blip.tv Welcome to The World, the latest online virtual reality MMORPG where backgrounds resemble European steampunk vistas, where characters spend a *** ton of time chatting, developing, and solving mysteries, and where action scenes are about as bad-ass as a flaccid phallice. Alright, alright...facetiousness aside, .hack//SIGN was an excellent series with a cast of memorable, interesting characters, in addition to wonderful character development, excellent writing, and a unique feature of being an MMORPG without much action. Of course, it is notorious for its laborious slow pacing, which has the potential to turn viewers away. .hack//Legend of the Twilight is a nice follow-up aimed for a younger audience with its chibi-styled character designs, watchable action scenes, and again, pretty solid dialogue. However, with the arrival of .hack//ROOTS, everything goes down the toilet; now granted, I haven't seen the .hack OVAs, like Liminality and Gift, or played the games, but yeah, spending an entire video on this 26-episode series should be a dead giveaway to how I ultimately feel about it. One of my big gripes I mentioned in the review was how .hack//ROOTS sets up some interesting characters (Ovan, for example, and also Naobi and Ender), and scenarios (the Key of the Twilight, Virus Cores, Signs, etc), but while muddling along (I don't mind slow pacing), the story jumps from one thing to another (the Key of ...

(The song appears as the second track on the 1996 CD titled, Last Race. Ex-New York Dolls guitarist Johnny Thunders and ex-Ramones bassist Dee Dee Ramone also performed on that track). The original Tombstones recorded a six song EP titled Grave Matter. One track from that release titled (I Ain't Got) Nobody also appeared on the Twilight Records compilation album Make the City Grovel in Its Dust, locally-produced in Atlanta, Georgia. • The Tombstones - Black Cat Here is an original 1986 music video featuring The Tombstones song, Black Cat from the band's Grave Matter EP. This main portion of this vintage video was originally shot and edited by Lester Dragstedt, a film student friend of the band. Our intent was to distribute copies of the video as part of our press and promotional packet, but as fate would have it, the video was never actually released to the general public. The footage was shot in various locations around Atlanta, Georgia, including inside and outside our old practice space at Stevie T's house (known by everyone in the Atlanta punk scene at that time as the Skank Hotel") and inside Oakland Cemetery (the final resting place of many notable Atlantans, including Gone With the Wind author Margaret Mitchell).
