Endocrinologist News CAMH - Centre for Addiction and Mental Health OHIP - Ontario Health Insurance Program I have to attend CAMH to transition because it's the only organization that OHIP recognizes to treat FTMs in a way that allows for public funding. It's too bad, since they make you go to a really bad doctor in Montreal for your mastectomy, and both Dr. Ken Zucker and his partner (who runs the adult clinic - Zucker runs the youth clinic) are known to be transphobic. Both have bad practices (look Zucker up online to see what they have and haven't done for FTMs). I'd rather pay for surgery than have it paid for me if I have to go to a bad doctor like the one in Montreal, although it's a lot of money. OHIP is great for everyday stuff, but FTM business sucks. I'm currently in the youth clinic, which is 0-20 years of age, while the adult clinic is for those 20+ and deals strictly with surgery. I don't know what doctor they force you to go to for bottom surgery (of any kind).
