According to scholar Diana Reynolds: The Rex-84 Alpha Explan (Readiness Exercise 1984, Exercise Plan; otherwise known as a continuity of government plan), indicates that FEMA in association with 34 other federal civil departments and agencies, along with other NATO nations, conducted a civil readiness exercise during April 5-13, 1984. It was conducted in coordination and simultaneously with a Joint Chiefs exercise, Night Train 84, a worldwide military command post exercise (including Continental US Forces or CONUS) based on multi-emergency scenarios operating both abroad and at home. In the combined exercise, Rex-84 Bravo, FEMA and DOD led the other federal agencies and departments, including the Central Intelligence Agency, the Secret Service, the Treasury, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Veterans Administration through a gaming exercise to test military assistance in civil defense. The exercise anticipated civil disturbances, major demonstrations and strikes that would affect continuity of government and/or resource mobilization. - The Kent State Shootings: Dealing With Dissent A National History Day Documentary that I created on the Kent State Shootings that placed 10th in the whole nation in the Junior Individual Documentary category. I plan to compete in NHD again next year. (This is the version with the longer credits)

- 'Hitler Youth' Shout Down Dissent To Green Fascism, w/ Interview Excerpts THIS POST has INTERVIEW EXCERPTS ONLY in order to fit one video segment. SEE VIDEO RESPONSES, for the FULL unedited LORD MONCKTON INTERVIEW. thank you, ric. The activists, who are invited delegates to the UNs Copenhagen summit, betrayed the dictatorial agenda of the United Nations and the climate change movement as a whole by having zero tolerance for any dissenting opinion crashing and shouting down a small conference of people who had merely gathered to present the other side of the debate. You are listening now to the shouts in the background of the Hitler youth, said Monckton, as the green thugs interrupted his speech. Monckon mentioned the fact that these same youth corps had green spray-painted Copenhagen with Orwellian messages in a frightening throwback to the red, white and black swastikas that littered the city during the time when it was occupied by the ***s. Another disruptor, Laura Comer, claimed, We're representing the majority of Americans on this, particularly young Americans. The real America wants clean energy not more fossil fuel-funded lies about the science. In actual fact, the Climategate emails clearly illustrated how the vast majority of big oil money is behind the climate change alarmists, not the skeptics. Indeed, the entire Copenhagen event is sponsored by a consortium of giant corporations that includes British Petroleum and Shell Oil. - Mumia Abu-Jamal -- Dissent in Times of War! Mark Twain was one of the most popular writers in America, and his fiction is at the heart of American literature. Yet, he was a staunch opponent of US military adventures at the dawn of the 20th century, and proudly opposed such militarism. Naturally, the establishment questioned his patriotism. In one of his novels, *A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court*, Twain gave eloquent voice to his brand of loyalty: You see my kind of loyalty was loyalty to one's country, not to its institutions or its office holders. The country is the real thing, the substantial thing, the eternal thing; it is the thing to watch over, and care for, and be loyal to; institutions are extraneous, they are its mere clothing, and clothing can wear out, become ragged, cease to be comfortable, cease to protect the body from winter, disease, and death. To be loyal to rags, to shout for rags, to worship rags, to die for rags — that is loyalty to unreason, it is pure animal; it belongs to monarchy, was invented by monarchy; let monarchy keep it. [fr. Howard Zinn, *Artists in Times of War* (NY: 7 Stories/Open Media, '03), p. 16]

Featuring first-person accounts and footage from more than forty cameras on the streets, 'Terrorizing Dissent' focuses on the story of dissent suppressed. People charged with "conspiracy to riot in furtherance of terrorism" speak out against the government's campaign to manipulate media coverage and label civil disobedience and community organizing as terrorism. "If civil disobedience becomes framed as 'terrorism' ... that's baloney. And the reason they're waving the T-word around, there's one reason and one reason only, because they want to squash dissent and they want to justify what the police do in the effort of squashing that dissent." Michelle Gross, Communities United Against Police Brutality 'Terrorizing Dissent' shows the results of the $50 million dollars the Department of Homeland Security gave to local authorities for security — a large chunk of which went to weaponize the police — and the $10 million insurance policy contract between the RNC Host Committee and the City of St. Paul, which shattered Minnesota's civil compact between protesters and police. - North American Union 2008 New Orleans report back from "The Peoples Summit" after the second sun burnt day of the gulf coast's people's summit, we here in new orleans are acting like we have months left before bush comes to town, when in fact he is here enjoying the city, comforted by air conditioning and motorcades. we are already witnessing the effects of his Security & Prosperity Partnership: with the mississippi river bridge's on and off ramps blocked, I-10 was made into an express highway, directing flows of traffic and people, conveniently out of his way, inconveniencing everyone else from having access to the city. The c*** street ferry, shuttling internally displaced traffic across the mississippi river, was circled through the day by coast guard boats fully armed and ready to fire mounted machine guns, in full show of force and what bush intends to mean by 'security,' we on the docks agreed was menacing and intimidating. the imminent, historic, and nation-altering meeting about to take place between the leaders of the "free world'' is being met with little, hardly any, noticeable resistance. Due at least in part to the crippled condition of new orleans, where 3 years after the hurricanes people continue to face daily struggles to survive, with no surplus resources, time, or active community members to lend to what would likely be, in any other city in the hemisphere, an equally historic People's protest to the executive meeting. Civilian resistance and protest to massive free trade agreements seems ...

- Voice of Dissent (Azumanga Daioh AMV) Disclaimer: I eat chickens with red curry! This Azumanga Daioh AMV just started out with as a little joke I started with Chiyo Chan and Osaka's Imaginary Murder. I just saw NHMK's Floating Through The Veins AMV when I made this. The idea of this AMV has been in my head for quite some time. Cyberpunk, electric, industrial violent and bloody children's AMV. But here I wanted to make an AMV without just as much effects, but rather use my effects in new ways. The structure of this AMV is quite simple. It starts of slow with an intro I animated myself and then added some filter to and also cropped away parts of it. Hehe, I'm quite proud of the beginning^^ Anyways, as I said earlier. It begins with Osaka's imaginary Chiyo-frag and then we go on with a low pace, with some more imaginary horror. [Got some inspiration from the Azumanga Daioh intro 'sora mimi cake' meaning 'imaginary cake'] And I felt obligated to show have an opening clip with my fav character in the anime, Kagura-san. I also ended the AMV with her^^ not counting the credits that is. And then we see Tomo pointing into the sky, showing us Sakaki-san with her impossibly natural body in a small bikini, then she points out a girl killing a woman and her child. And as from that point, it slowly starts to get real. As a little pre-gore. Showing us what we can expect. Then things start. first off we see Sakaki-san and what appears to be her doing violent stuff to the others. Then we see the scanlines, signalizing that it ...
