Numb Trailer - Depersonalization Disorder for more info on Depersonalization. ==================================== Screenwriter Hudson Milbank suffers from acute depersonalization disorder. So alienated from his own life that he makes the chronically depressed look perky, Hudson lives alone, watches The Golf Channel all day, can't hang on to a relationship, shoplifts in order to get his adrenalin up off the floor, fears that thinking about his dad's death will bring it to pass, loathes his mother, and in general, is as nutty as a crapshack in a peanut farm. Obsessed with the underlying sadness that infuses his wretched existence, Hudson is a man in hell, but he thinks that his long catalogue of dismally unsatisfying and mutually self-destructive relationships is over when SARA stumbles into his life. He knows she can save him. She knows he has to save himself. Together they save each other. And it's funny too.

What I've been going through: Depersonalization For those of you wondering, this is what I have been dealing with for the past three months! And welcome to you new folks! Depersonalization is a dissociative disorder that is very scary but can be cured! I have never used any type of recreational drugs or even drank alcohol that much, maybe only 4 or 5 times in my life. It's a frustrating thing to go through but it gets better! I've had days where I feel much better and other days where I feel awful. It just takes time! That is probably going to be the best medicine for me or anybody is time. Comment or message me if you have questions about DP!

The EGO and DEPERSONALIZATION/DEREALIZATION I am back at last! Today I noticed an interesting pattern.. Author of "The Power of Now" Eckhart Tolle #1 New York Times Bestselling Author, and the great DP/DR info book "Feeling Unreal" by daphne Simeon. If you figure out who your ego is and the awareness behind the ego, yourself, and sit down to think about your description of Depersonalization and this conscious awareness, which the yourself, you will realize that they are quite similar. STOP OUR EGOISTIC THOUGHTS! Stop it from convincing you that Depersonalization is a "BAD" thing! There are religions out there, such as Buddhism, that believe feeling the way we feel is life's ultimate and final goal! EMBRACE IT SOMEHOW!
