The students, appearing for the examination in Bijapur three days ago, were caught copying using a customised China-made shirt in which micro-sized digital gadgets like bluetooth, radio frequency transmitters, pen and lapel microphones were fixed. They were debarred for adopting "unfair practice" in the examination hall, RGUHS Registrar (Evaluation) Dr Ashok Kumar told PTI. The three were getting answers through bluetooth via transmitters and lapel microphones, Kumar said adding that the pen acted as a scanner. They were caught after invigilators grew suspicious about their movement and gestures and on search they were amused to find the students using micro-sized gadgets, he said. GUHS Vice Chancellor KS Sriprakash has ordered a high-powered probe into the matter, Kumar said but refused to divulge the names of the three students.
