Enjoy! www.sonzogno.it So this is the project I've been working on for the last 5 months, and heres how part 1 of it is made: On the six arms parts, which by the way took most of the time to make, I filmed Sollima playing the different layers of cello after each other. I then edited the video frame by frame in Photoshop (remember, it's 25 frames per second of video), cutting his arms out from the other layers and pasting it on top, matching the movement of the cello. This was done ca 4000 times, by myself. The clouds were actually filmed in my backyard, sped up 1250 times. The birds we're filmed in my town, Larvik, Norway on clear blue sky, so that I could use blue screen keying to put them on top of the clouds. It's hard to notice, but the birds are moving in half speed slow motion. I also had to stabilize the motion of the birds, since I filmed it with handhelt camcorder. The sequence was cut together using After Effects and Premiere. The forest, river sequence was photographed in a forest in Arona, Italy. I took a picture ca. every five meters, and morphed the images together using WinMorph, matching the pace of the music. The zooming sequence is very hard to explain. Daydream Music: What a Day for a Daydream - The Lovin' Spoonful This is a machinima I did a while back, but left on my hard drive for a bit. I decided to finish it off and upload it rather than let it hide away from you guys. I made this almost completely using Hammer and Half Life 2: Episode 1. The movie is a map file which runs from beginning to end almost completely automated. Grab the map here - burning-water.com Extract this into your Half-Life 2 Episode 1\episodic folder and run the map ingame by typing "map daydreamtrackrelease" in the console. This doesn't work in OB games, so don't try running it in Gmod. Hit the left button to start the singer off on his way, or hit the right button to watch the movie from the animated camera. To watch again, just reload the map. For those interested, I've also included the vmf file. Since I was learning the entity system as I went along, don't expect it to be very tidy, but it can hopefully be of use to anyone wanting to learn how to do similar things in Hammer.

Ash ra tempel- day dream Starring Rosi (Kosmische Musik 1973) Ash Ra Tempel are one of the most notable German Krautrock groups of the 1970s, and are a notable example of cosmic or space rock. The group was originally founded by guitarist Manuel Göttsching, keyboardist/drummer Klaus Schulze, and bassist Hartmut Enke in 1971. All three founding members had previously played together as part of the short-lived group Eruption founded by Conrad Schnitzler. Prior to that Schnitzler and Schulze had worked together in Tangerine Dream. Ash Ra Tempel released its self-titled debut album in June of 1971. This release is considered by critics to be a classic of the genre; Schulze temporarily departed for a solo career shortly after its release. Sunshine Daydream - Jack Straw Sunshine Daydream is an unreleased movie shot at the Grateful Dead's 1972 Veneta, Oregon concert to benefit the Springfield Creamery in nearby Springfield, Oregon. The film is sometimes shown at small film festivals, and bootleg recordings of it have circulated on VHS and DVD and as digital downloads. The concert, recorded on August 27, 1972, was filmed using four 16 mm cameras, in the woods of the Oregon Coast Range foothills, on the grounds of the Oregon Country Fair. Originally even more cameras had been planned, under an ambitious scheme: "The plot was to develop a signature visual style of representing the band: a camera for each of the 16 channels (at least!) emphasizing the visual kinetics of the music making itself as well as the enormous open communication within the band." Ken Kesey and old cohort Ken Babbs emceed the concert. The Dead played all afternoon and into the dark after an opening set by the New Riders of the Purple Sage. The title of the film is taken from the coda section of the Dead song "Sugar Magnolia".

daydream This is a pretty weird video. I had the idea for this vid ever since picking up the Yotsuba To! manga, which is by the same author who created Azumanga Daioh, Kiyohiko Azuma. The little green-haired girl is Yotsuba, who is quite mischevious and full of energy, and I felt that she fit perfectly into the idea of the Azu characters having weird dreams. I started work on this thing back in 2004, and got sidetracked with school and a lot of other things, so I didn't have the time then to finish the vid like I wanted to. I finally got around to finishing it in time for Acen 2007. All said and done, the video probably took me a month and a half of hard work to finish.
