A great way to prepare for a competency based interview is to get hold of a copy of the job description. Quite often, the competencies the interviewer is looking for can be found here, so take some time to think about the times when you have demonstrated those competencies in the past. Once you are in the interview, you must ensure that you structure your answer. He is adjunct clinical faculty in psychology at the University of Washington and adjunct faculty in psychology at Seattle Pacific University. He has worked in adult clinical neuropsychology for 29 years, and is currently in private practice in Bellingham, Washington. Much of his work has focused on traumatic brain injury rehabilitation. He has taught neuropsychology in 20 countries on five continents, including a Fulbright Senior Lectureship in Spain and two years of teaching in Costa Rica. He has a specialty in cross-cultural neuropsychology, and an interest in the development of culturally appropriate neuropsychology in developing countries. In addition to his 1999 book, Neuropsychotherapy and Community Integration: Brain Illness, Emotions, and Behavior, he has published 14 articles and book chapters.
