  • ORIGIN Systems - Bad Blood (Intro/Gameplay) Bad Blood was released in 1990. I only recently started playing it when I got it from Abandonia. It's a somewhat decent post-apocalyptic action RPG. Needless to say, it's a light RPG, but it's got some character and it's a bit more colorful than say, Wasteland or Fallout. While that's all fine and dandy, the story moves a bit slowly and the game doesn't really pick up until later when you finally get better equipment, although that can take awhile in this game. I picked the human because otherwise it's a *** to do anything with the humans (or humes, as the game cheesily refers to them) otherwise. Apparently I'm also a retard because I kept doing "use knife" during one point of the video. I thought it wasn't equipped, turned out it was, thought that by saying "use it" that it would be unequipped, but it turns out that it wouldn't. However confusing that sounds, but that explains it at least. Bad Blood isn't exactly great, but it's pretty good, and it's much like a very very light Ultima. My only main problem with it was the interface that hogs up nearly the whole screen. Otherwise it's worth playing maybe for the combat and cheesy characters alone, although I wouldn't call it up to par with Wasteland or anything.

Mostly for the wrong reasons. The images, by photographer Terry Richardson, are overtly, cheesily ***y. Website Jezebel summed it up with the headline: Terry Richardson Makes Glee All ***y and they have a point. The pictures are also amazingly ***ist. Monteith, who plays Finn, is wearing approximately 10 times more clothing than both of the women, who are draped over him like fancy accessories. Michele and Agron both sport gloopy, Day-Glo make up, and the occasional manic grin doesn't stop the whole thing appearing to be devoid of both humour and imagination -- even more so when compared with the clever brilliance of the show they are promoting. (Agron has posted an interesting response to people's reactions on her blog.)
