At 3:42, Harding talks about the song. This aired on WRAS (88.5) in early 1990. If anyone knows the exact date, please let me know.

Gloria Balsam "Fluffy" live at the New Music Seminar Gloria Balsam's classic song "Fluffy" was made famous by Dr. Demento and lives on and on in rock and roll folklore. This video was made when Gloria was making a personal appearance at the New Music Seminar 5 at the Hilton Hotel in New York City. Mister Richardson recorded this video and put it here on YouTube many years ago, but the sound has gone away on that one for some reason. Let's hope that the sound will stay on this one for a while.

The origin of grassy balds in southern Haywood county is a result of extensive clear-cut logging and locomotive fires in 1925 and 1942.[5] These fires burned deep down into the mineral-rich topsoil slowing reforestation or stopping it altogether. Ballot Room in the historic, Balsams Grand Resort Hotel Simple Documentation of the famous Ballot Room in The Balsams Grand Resort Hotel Dixfield Notch, NH Dixville Notch is best known in connection with its longstanding middle-of-the-night vote in the US presidential election, including during the New Hampshire primary (the first primary election in the US presidential nomination process). In a tradition that started in the 1960 election, all the eligible voters in Dixville Notch gather at midnight in the ballroom of The Balsams. The voters cast their ballots and the polls officially are closed one minute later. The result of the Dixville Notch vote in both the New Hampshire primary and the general election are traditionally broadcast around the country immediately afterwards.
