Tired of dull prints? If you are frustrated with images that look bright on screen but dull when printed, watch this video to understand a bit about Color Profiles and Color Numbers. The basics are that when using a Convert command you are preserving the appearance and in order to do that you must convert the Color Numbers. When you use the Assign command you are preserving the original color numbers but the Appearance will change in the assigned profile. ALL CONVERTS AND ASSIGNS should only be done on a flattened file. The instructions in this video will show you why your images may come back from the printer looking dull and how to correct this. ADDENDUM The following is not necessary to do but I'm only outlining it to get the point across. You open your image from your camera or Camera Raw and notice it's embedded w/ AdobeRGB profile. You like the way it looks. You softproof by pressing Ctrl Y, then go to View-Proof Setup and check Windows, You notice the colors dulled down in the softproof. Press Ctrl Y to shut off softproofing. You go to Edit-Convert and choose sRGB, it still looks the same as it did in AdobeRGB without softproofing, only now the numbers have changed to preserve that appearance and the embedded profile changed to sRGB, Press Ctrl Y to turn on softproofing, see? No change. Press Ctrl Y to shut off Sofproofing. Now, you go to Edit-Assign and choose AdobeRGB, This preserves the numbers but the appearance has drastically bumped up in saturation, even more so than the original ...

He was credited with several victories during this time. On July 12, 1941, Wittmann received the first of many awards; the Iron Cross Second Class. When asked, at the presentation of the medal, if he had any special requests, Wittmann requested that a T-34 crew be given treatment afforded any brave soldier. His request was granted. The Lord of the Rings - Isengard Theme/Orc Theme ISENGARD/ORC THEME, a theme for Isengard and the Orcs, is often used in conjunction with the Five Beat Pattern, but forming no particular rhythmic relationship with it. (That is, it can be heard starting on any beat of the 5 Beat Pattern). THE FIVE BEAT PATTERN is a clanking, clamoring motif that represents "the industrial might of Middle-earth." (Howard Shore per Doug Adams, CR-FOTR liner notes, page 20). In the FOTR and TTT, it was assigned to the category of Isengard and the Orcs and can be heard alone to represent Isengard, underlying the Isengard theme, or alone to represent forces of Mordor (other than Isengard). In the ROTK with the dimming of Isengard's power, the Five Beat Pattern was realigned to Mordor. THE CRUELTY OF THE ORCS, is a blaring, discordant, descending phrase. It was first assigned to the category of Isengard and the Orcs (FOTR & TTT). But in the ROTK, with the dimming of Isengard's power, it was realigned to Mordor.

However, Wittmann began his career as a tank ace in actually an assault gun; the StuG III. In the Ukraine Whitmann found success with the StuG III against T-34's. He was credited with several victories during this time. On July 12, 1941, Wittmann received the first of many awards; the Iron Cross Second Class. When asked, at the presentation of the medal, if he had any special requests, Wittmann requested that a T-34 crew be given treatment afforded any brave soldier. His request was granted. Whitmann was awarded the; Iron Cross First Class on September 8th, 1941. Wittmann, his crew, and their StuG III nicknamed "Buzzard" were quickly making a name for themselves fighting against superior T-34/76. On December 20th 1942 Wittmann completed the Officer Training course at Bad Tölz. He was commissioned a SS-Untersturmführer (2nd Lieutenant) and assigned to Heavy Panzer Replacement Battalion 500. Wittmann checked out in a long-barreled PzKw IV. Soon after Wittmann began training in the weapon that would make him famous; the PzKw VI "Tiger."
