  • British Airways Engineering Apprentices British Airways is running a Technical Engineering Apprenticeship Programme, aimed at finding the engineering talent of the future. This year, we will be looking for 120 students, recruited across four colleges: Kingston College, Brooklands College, Farnborough College of Technology and Uxbridge College. After successfully completing the year at college, the students will have the opportunity to become full time employees of British Airways, based at Heathrow. They will then gain experience working across various engineering departments as well as attending College on a day release basis. There is then the opportunity to become a full-time mechanic with the airline. The continuation of the apprenticeship scheme is part of a wider review of BA Engineering's drive to identify new talent and improve existing training opportunities.
