Jazzles Voconics Fat Fish Alliterative Lyrics Animation Example of Jazzles Voconics 'Animation' for the 'Fat Fish' Alliterative Lyrics. The initial letter 'fF' is highlighted in the Jazzles Matching Captions. Jazzles Voconics has an alliterative animation for each alphabet letter. They achieve extraordinary engagement - intellectually and emotionally. Each animation is based on a Lesley Beth Voconics song. Each 'Voconics' song is an alliterative story that transforms into an engaging animation, interactive computer games and extensions into craft, drama, arts, music and language themed, cross-curriculum activities. Every time children sing along and track the words in the Matching Captions on screen, they are using all three learning styles while engaging both their left and right brain as they experience 'reading' vocabulary in context. This is piped via wire to a fountain squirting painty water onto a microphone, from which the signal is transferred to a laptop which interprets the water noise as speech. My discovery is that the type of noise can strongly influence the phonetics heard by the computer, and an alliterative text was created.

Tried to 'rewrite' Beowulf in a modern South African context. :) Most of the images used were printed from computer in grey/white then painted over with acrylic. Used guitar harmonics for what I hope is 'lyre' sound! This is a slightly reworked version after fixing some grammar (thanks Prof. Viljoen) and toning down the melodrama. ABC2010.mov In this intro to Photoshop project, a student (the graphic designer) will take a picture of another student (the client) in front of the greenscreen wall. Together, they will come up with an alliterative name for the student. Then the designer will manipulate the image in Photoshop, using adjustment layers and filters, and replace the green BG (background) to create an image in the style of the alliterative name. Lastly, the designer will add a text layer of the client's alliterative name to the image and save the file using the "save for web and devices" feature in Photoshop.

4 Year Olds Show Off Their Early Reading Talents After just a few weeks using Jazzles Animations, a 4 year boy and girl in an Ohio Pre-K shows off their early reading skills! In this video shot January 2011, the children are tracking words one by one and even self-correcting. Jazzles uses musically themed, alliteratively rich, lyrics created as animations as the starting point for reading development. The lyrics are presented as 'Matching Captions'. Holistically, a binding relationship is created between the sung lyrics, the sound track, the visualization and the Matching Captions that enables young children to 'take-out' letter-sounds, while familiarizing themselves with words, phrases and meanings. By mixing entertaining cartoons with catchy music, prolifically alliterative alphabetic lyrics and specially formatted subtitles, Jazzles entertains while powerfully, yet intuitively educating.
