Pet Abuse There are people who bought pets from pet shops just because they see some cute dog in the movie, or they think they are just adorable, or they are lonely, or they think they should get one because all their friends do. All the reasons above are typical reasons for pet-abandoner to buy pets at the first place. They underestimated the consequences and responsibility that came along in term perspective. For example, many puppy buyers don't realize that their cute little baby is probably going to have a growth spurt in a very short time. One year later, barking, chewing, peeing, biting... all problems started to appear and most people decides to dump them because they don't want to bother. For I had mentioned all about puppy purchase from pet shops previously, they are NOT encouraged at all. Pet shops might have pretty labels and designs on their front door or cute little puppies as their displacement. However, most of the puppies are born with unlicensed breeders. Meaning their mothers are forced to give birth to babies who are mistreated. Most of the mothers of puppies in pet shops are locked up in cage for life, because their only purpose to stay alive is to produce money source for breeders. This continues till their death or when they can't give birth anymore. Buying puppies from pet shops will only encourage the business to continue growing endlessly, because as long as there are people wanting to buy puppies, they will never stop. Years ago the mother automatically retained custody of the child and the father got visitation. The laws were changed to make it easier for the father to obtain custody as it is for the mother. Although at first blush this looked like a progressive change in the law, it has caused enumerable problems. What has occurred is an increased competition between the parents to gain custody because now either parent has a chance for custody. This competition becomes extremely bitter and often results in creating false accusations of physical or ***ual abuse. This phenomena has been examined and researched and has now been given the name Parental Alienation Syndrome. The manifestations where signs of parental alienation exist when a child has a preoccupation with denigration and criticism of one parent that is unjustified or exaggerated. It appears that the child has one loved parent and one hated parent. Laymen can very easily see the manifestations of parental alienation, the child always sides with one parent against the other. What is not so easy to see is the mechanism by which one parent, the loved parent, can alienate or turn the child against the other parent, or the hated parent.
